Three sisters embrace the ancient art of indigo dyeing

Three sisters embarked on an adventure in Indigo dyeing and its history, by taking a class. The historical aspect was very interesting, however, the dyeing process was a complete failure! Inspired by a courageous woman, Eliza Lucas Pickney, the first successful grower of Indigo in America, we persevered.
Research, experimentation and playing with dyeing techniques new and old, enabled us to develop a wide variety of artistic techniques for hand dyed Indigo goods.

Seeing our beautiful Indigo cloth hanging on our clotheslines outside our log homes was the inspiration for our logo, Log Cabin Indigo.
We pride ourselves in creating unique, made by hand linens and goods that are true works of art.
