Because this was a gift mailed directly to the recipients, I can't comment on the pouch itself, but Lois was very communicative and helpful to work with.

Beautiful custom piece! I love it! Lois found some fabric and used custom silver ink and I couldn't be happier. Used it this year and will use it every Passover now. Both simple and elegant.

Art that celebrates the threads of spirit that connect us all.

Weaver, dyer, seamstress - Creator of Ceremonial Cloths, that’s me. I began this journey by earning my Girl Scout embroidery badge and weaving on a looper loom and continued on through a bachelor’s degree and more recently a certificate in fiber arts. Textiles and fiber processes are my passion.

Ceremonial Cloths: I combine my passion for textiles with my love and deep connection with Divine Spirit. This work provides me the opportunity to be of service to both my customers and Spirit by creating pieces that I hope will inspire connections between the two. This is the work of my heart.

Is there is a cloth you want and cannot find? I can help you manifest your vision. By intertwining the skills I have been gifted with your ideas, I strive to create a framework for you to connect with Spirit, as you see it.

Weaving: The interlacement of threads to create cloth is one of humanity’s oldest endeavors. I am honored to be part of this ancient tradition. I have two large floor looms (one 4-harness and one 8-harness), a 4-harness table loom, and several smaller looms as well. On these I weave my tallit, atarah bands and other cloth.

Dyeing: Using fiber-reactive dyes gives me the opportunity to play with color, either by dyeing the warp threads before they are woven (tallit) or dying purchased cloth (challah covers).

Sewing: This is the first skill I learned as a child and have practiced my whole life. Over the years I have sewn everything from garments to tents and every type of fabric from the finest silks to heavy canvas and vinyl. So rest assured, anything I sew will be professionally done.

The jewelry I make for fun, and it gives me an excuse to buy beads.
