Announcement   Welcome to my shop - All carpets are reduced of their original color and then overdyed in my Atlanta studio. My custom carpets consist of authentic, hand knotted Persians and Afghans, which are far superior in both feel and texture to the typical Turkish overdyed carpets flooding the market. The majority of my business is custom projects, so feel free to message me with any and all requests.

London did a custom dye job for me. Overall the result was fabulous and exactly what I was looking for. We had a communication error which resulted in a slightly wrong color rug, but London re-did the dying and the resut was perfect!! He communicated well throughout the process including pics!

We Love the custom Rug London made for us. London also helped us choose the color and we find him to be knowledgeable about internal design. We were not an easy client and London was very patient with us and replied to all of our questions professionally.

Additional policies and FAQs
All rugs are 100% authentic, wool, handmade, vintage Persian unless stated otherwise. The multi-step, color reduction and over dying processes are performed by yours truly, in my Atlanta-area studio in an environmentally responsible manner.

VINTAGE:
Rugs labeled "vintage" are actual antiques and "perfectly imperfect". Visible repairs, abrash, patched areas, wear patterns, color inconsistencies, and other unique traits may be present in the rug's original state. Cotton is used in the foundation of most handmade rugs, and as the pile wears with use over time variable amounts of the foundation will typically become visible throughout the pile. Most commonly, this will be in the form of white speckles (formally referred to as “white knots”), or in broad areas exceeding that of a "white knot". These traits do not decrease the value of an antique rug and are not considered flaws. Over dying is not meant to mask or cover-up any of these characteristics, and in some cases it will make them even more apparent. If any of these traits concern you, please feel free to ask questions prior to purchasing. If vintage is simply not your style, I can also supply and custom over dye new, handmade rugs upon request.

COLOR VARIATIONS:
Great care is taken in all listings to accurately describe colors or the range of colors present within each rug. Detailed descriptions are provided and multiple photographs are taken, showing each carpet in various settings. Please be aware that the lighting conditions within the room where a carpet is placed (natural, indirect, or artificial light) can greatly affect the way that a carpet ultimately looks. The appearance of colors or photographs on a computer can also vary from monitor to monitor. If you have questions or concerns related to color or are trying to "match" a particular color or tone, please message me with any questions prior to purchasing.

OVER DYED RUGS/ CUSTOM ORDERS:
The majority of my work is custom and I'm happy to collaborate with buyers and/or designers. Given the handmade nature of my over dyed rugs, no two rugs are alike- so each is truly one-of-a-kind. Custom orders can typically be brought within a few shades of the client's preferred color but a precise color match cannot be guaranteed due to the inherently complex nature of the processes involved in transforming the carpet from its original state, into a single color or reduction series final product. As such, there remains the possibility of areas of original dyes remaining visible in the carpet following both the color-reduction technique and the overdyeing technique.

CARING FOR YOUR RUG:
Clean with a mild, solvent-free cleaner, or have professionally cleaned by a rug cleaning service. For spots or spills, combine cold water and white vinegar in equal parts in a spray botttle, and blot the area with a lint-free towel until the spot disipates.

NOTE: Do NOT use Resolve, or any other carpet cleaning products as alkaline detergents are harmful to both the wool and the dye.
