It is simply gorgeous. I received it quickly and it was very well packaged. I am hanging it in my living room.

This runner is magnificent!! I purchased it as a birthday gift for my closest friend, who collects fine textiles, and he loves it. It looks amazing in his home, which is a beautiful loft with great artwork. I am so pleased with this piece.....Lynn is an extremely gracious seller, in addition to being a gifted artisan. I highly and very enthusiastically recommend her shop!

About

Lake George

My family has been lovers of, and residents of Lake George and the surrounding area for over 275 years. My loom is on the secluded enclosed porch of my camp overlooking the Lake.

I take the colors in my weaving from the trees, water, and mountains around me; from mushrooms, mosses, flowers, rocks, ferns, and pine needles I see on my daily hikes; from sunrises, sunsets, and the glow of the setting sun on winter ice.

A mathematical physicist and musician, I hide math in my designs, and use the rhythm, harmony, and dissonance of music. I create art with an existence and meaning of its own. People respond to my textiles and figure out uses for them. Many can be framed.

Al, an electrical engineer, helps me. He loves working with wood and metal. A steamboat that he built is familiar to many on the Lake. As a steamboating friend of ours said, if you combine STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with A (Art), you get STEAM. Don’t you think that about sums it up?
