My name is Laia and I am currently living in the UK, in a beautiful city near London. I am a physician, my great vocation since childhood, although it is not the only one. When I was a child I liked to sew my dolls’ dresses with any fabric I could get my hands on. I always wanted to study and learn handcrafted techniques: drawing, sculpture, sewing, restoration…
Loopicraft is my way to spend a few hours a week working in another of my passions. I love being creative, do things in a different and unexpected way. The originality of things and the individual personality of every single person appeals to me. I enjoy getting lost in fabric stores and nose about street markets looking for buttons, fabrics or vintage objects. In my travels I always have to visit parks, botanical gardens and markets, it is part of the experience.
