My Story
In high school, my health started to decline a bit and since then I have never really felt the same. I would not be able to keep up with my friends, and was exhausted all the time. I started getting migraines daily starting my senior year, and we never really knew why. Fast forward to the last week of my senior year, I got tested for Lyme disease, and a few days later the test came back positive. This was the start to a life long problems I never knew I would have.
Now in 2023, I have been currently and will continue to struggling with Sjogren's syndrome, Migraines, POTS, and Raynaud's Syndrome. I do work full time as a Medical Coder, and thankfully I work from home which is what has made it possible to even work. It has been a struggle the last few years, but being chronically ill, we have no choice but to continue moving forward and enjoying what we can! I wont lie and say I am strong everyday. I have many days where I just feel defeated and feel sorry for myself but in the end, I am grateful for what I have in the moment and tell myself to keep going.
During the years of helping my MIL with her small business, I grew a passion for spreading awareness about those causes that are not very well known about as well as causes that are very well known about. I grew this passion because the disease I was diagnosed with that started everything, my doctors did not really understand nor really believed in the disease itself. I make these bracelets to hopefully bring happiness or hope into someone's life. For people to start conversations about their cause. For people to see how strong they are because what they have been through. For people to know there are going to be good days and bad days. To show people they matter no matter what. These bracelets represent strength, power, and hope!
