My college roommate was a potter and I spent hours silently watching her perfect her throwing. I found it meditative and soothing. It wasn't until years later that I gave it a try. When I did, it just came to me, and I was hooked. I set up my own studio after moving to Dixon, NM with my young family. I found guidance from the world-class potters there and support from the community to turn my craft into a business. I have since moved to Tucson, AZ and built a little backyard studio to start over. I look forward to the journey.

Thank you for visiting my Etsy shop. All of my pottery is handmade by me, Lori Kindler. Please keep in mind that I make a lot of custom items. If you see something you like but would prefer it in a different glaze that you see on one of my other items, please contact me and we can set up a customer order. I also make large place settings and personalized items through custom orders.
Please keep in mind that all items are handmade and there will be slight variations in sizes and glaze covering.

Ship items back within: 7 days of delivery

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

I believe in good customer service, and if you read my reviews you will see that is what I provide. Please contact me right away if there is a problem and we will find a solution.
I ship Priority Mail through the USPS to ensure that it gets their quickly and with as little handling as possible. Shipping charges vary significantly depending on where I am shipping to, so I try to charge enough to cover the actual costs. Sometimes I miss the mark and I eat a few dollars of the shipping charges, but if I have overcharged by at least a dollar I always issue a refund to my buyers.
