5 out of 5 starsAnother wonderful creation from the ever-inventive Lorie Marsh, complete with the tiniest lid you can imagine (thoughtfully tacked down so it can be removed but won't get lost). What a great imagination Lorie has! Every time I check in "just to see what she's got", she lures me in with something incredible. I'm not planning to stop checking in anytime soon.

Welcome to my studio! Here you'll find everything I need to make small vessels and hand built items.
-
Painting designs on a tiny pot before firing. Once painted, the bottoms are cleaned and the pot is prepared for firing.
-
Loading the kiln!
-
Photographing the vessels to share with you takes a bit of finesse. Good lighting is easy with the sun streaming in.
-
Your vessels will arrive environmentally packaged in brown craft paper, cardboard pillow pockets and tied with twine.

I'm a maker / owner working from my home studio in Northern Indiana. I began making full size work in 2013 and transitioned to small wares in the fall of 2018. My small work focuses on replicating ceramic vessels in a significantly smaller form.

Frequently asked questions
My piece arrived broken.....
Contact me within 3 days if there is a problem with your order.
If your order arrives in a million pieces, don't worry, I can help! If your piece arrives broken, here's what you do:
1. Immediately photograph the package and the broken piece(s)
2. Contact me ASAP to let me know about the mishap
3. Rest assured that a replacement will be on the way just as soon as possible!
All sales are final, but if you are truly unhappy with your order please contact me within 3 days and we will work something out.
I love my customers and want you to be thrilled with your purchase, but not claiming damage within 15 days will result in your loss.
I don't see the style / color that I want in the shop.....can I place a custom order?
Absolutely! I love working with customers to bring their vision to life!
Made to Order pieces generally ship in 2-3 weeks but can take longer depending on demand and complexity of the piece. I do aim to get things shipped to you faster, but sometimes I'm not pleased with a piece when it is finished and I will make it again to ensure you receive the highest quality piece possible.
Your happiness with the vessel is my top priority. I will remain in contact with you during the making process to ensure you like your custom piece.
Please note - Custom orders are not eligible for refunds or cancellation by the buyer.
Can I put my items in the dishwasher....are the glazes food safe?
Short answer, yes. Longer answer, sort of! Given the small nature of the work, I recommend you simply wash them by hand or wipe them with a damp cloth.
All of my work is made with food safe glazes, so they can definitely go in the dishwasher and microwave; however, any item with GOLD LUSTER detailing cannot go in the microwave and for its longevity should not go in the dishwasher.
But what if I still want to return it.....
Each piece is made one at a time by hand and it is very important to me that you are happy with your order. Please email me within 3 days of receipt if you are absolutely heartbroken and hate the vessel. We'll work something out.
But please note that this is a handmade product and there can be small differences between the presented photo and the item that you will receive - pieces sometimes look different in different light.
Due to the delicate nature of handmade ceramics, I CANNOT be responsible for broken pieces months down the line. Breakable things unfortunately sometimes break. Please use care.
Shipping costs will not be returned, and it is the buyer's responsibility to pay the return shipping.
Shipping.....how will it arrive?
All of my products are custom packaged and resembles a gift when it arrives. But, I also offer gift wrapping for a more special touch. Please let me know if you would like to include a hand written note. I am happy to include it with your gift.
All orders are packed with a recycle box, biodegradable paper, and peanuts and small bubble wrap or foam if necessary. While I strive to use 100% recyclable materials, sometimes the delicacy of your piece requires special wrapping to ensure it arrives to you safely. Please recycle what you are able to.
Domestic: All orders ship via USPS Priority Mail.
International: All orders ship via USPS Priority Mail International with a tracking number. You are responsible for customs fees and taxes.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your order has shipped you will receive an automatic email with tracking information. Please allow USPS 24-48 hours to scan and update the movement of the package, and be aware that once the package has been received by USPS, I can no longer control the amount of time it takes to arrive to you.
