Lorinczi's Shop Policies

Welcome to Lorinczi Jewelry! I hope you like what you see, and that you're considering purchasing something. I do my best to make every piece with maximum attention to detail, to ensure the highest quality craftsmanship. I will do my utmost to see that you are happy with your purchase!

Please pay within 24 hours. I accept Paypal payments only at this time. Don't worry if you don't have a Paypal account; you can still pay by credit card through Paypal without signing up. Prices include shipping and insurance, which is free within the continental U.S. California customers must add tax, which is an additional 8.5%.

I will ship to the address listed on PayPal or Direct Checkout; if you need your purchase sent to another address please let me know when placing your order.

If this is a gift, for an additional $5 I will package the jewelry in beautiful, chic little black boxes embossed with my logo, wrapped in tissue paper.

I cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen packages. If an incorrect address or contact information was provided, the buyer is responsible for all associated losses.

Refunds and Exchanges

I strive for 100% customer satisfaction. You have up to 10 days of receipt of your purchase to make sure you love your new jewelry. If you are disappointed, I will refund payment, minus shipping and handling costs, any associated PayPal/ Direct Checkout fees, and Etsy's 3.5% transaction fee.

I must receive the jewelry in perfect condition, in its original packaging, before I can issue a refund. I am not responsible for return shipping costs.

Due to the nature of custom work, there are no refunds, returns, or exchanges on special orders. If I have made a mistake, such as getting the size wrong, I will fix it and sent it back to you. Once work has begun no refunds of deposits on custom pieces can be made.

The returned item must be in its original box, and should be insured. I am not responsible for return shipping costs or for lost items. Securely pack and seal the return item in its original packaging, in an appropriate shipping box, and send back to me using an insured service to the address below. Insurance will provide you with recourse on your package, as I cannot accept responsibility for packages that I do not ship myself.

Please ship returns to this address:

1155 Stanyan Street
San Francisco, CA 94117

Additional Policies and FAQs

While I prefer to provide my own high quality, responsibly sourced gems for my jewelry, I am also happy to use customers' gem(s). Please be aware, however, that there are risks associated with using your own stones, both for myself, as well as for yourself. A customer might inadvertently provide a stone that he or she was told is an old family diamond, only to find out later that it is actually a cubic zirconia or moissanite, which is difficult even for gemologists to identify.

As a result, I can not guarantee any stone provided by a customer in any way. If you have a high value stone that you would like set, please take it first to a reputable, independent gemologist and have it examined so you can be certain it's yours when you receive your piece. I will happily set it, as I am a firm believer in recycling, but please understand that you incur a risk in doing this, and that old stones are more prone to chipping or cracking during the setting process.
