From what I've seen of Nancy's work, this paper and a companion piece are unusual. I like the soft, serene colors and the change of color from one area to the next. Intriguing!

About

Books are my passion.

I've been making books for over thirty years, but just for friends and family until recently. I love all parts of making a book, from the creativity used in the design phase to the intricacies of the production process.
About five years ago, I started making marbled papers to use in my books and fell in love with the art form. Marbling is marvelously expressive and endlessly surprising. No two papers are ever the same. Not a hobby for those inclined to be OCD!
A little over a year ago, I started working with Sam Castner and incorporated metal pieces crafted by him in my books, portfolios and boxes. I enjoy the challenge of find the perfect place for his figurative and abstract work.
I'm happiest when I'm designing, creating and crafting new and exciting pieces. I also have a blog at www.NancyLangford.com where I talk about my art, my creations and my life.
I wonder where my next challenge will lie?

I will accept special orders for my marbled paper, but it may take up to six weeks, depending on my marbling schedule. Every sheet of marbled paper is unique. Even when using the same colors and pattern there will be variations. That's the beauty of a hand-marbled paper.
