Me ha encantado poder crear las piezas en mi tienda, y estoy muy agradecida por esta oportunidad de usar los talentos que Dios me ha dado para traer gloria a Su nombre. Durante los últimos años, Dios realmente ha puesto en mi corazón un llamado a traer Su luz a la oscuridad de la industria de la pornografía. Este es un tema que es tan grande en el mundo de hoy, y sin embargo, apenas se habla de él. He sentido que el Señor me está guiando a tratar de hacer una diferencia en el mundo ayudando a las personas quebrantadas a encontrar el perdón, la curación, la esperanza y, en última instancia, una nueva vida a través de Jesús... Espero ayudar a otros a encontrar la libertad del pecado sexual que Jesús ofrece. Con la industria de la pornografía siendo una cosa tan grande para una persona, a menudo me he sentido desanimado. Sin embargo, lo increíble es... Dios es mucho más grande que la industria de la pornografía, y Él es mucho más grande que cualquier pecado con el que luchamos. Es sólo por la gracia de Dios que puedo ser capaz de ayudar a hacer una diferencia. Él ha hecho increíblemente más por mí de lo que jamás podría merecer, y desea mucho que experimentemos algo mejor que vidas de pecado. He tenido este sueño en el fondo de mi mente como algo que quiero hacer, pero nunca he estado muy seguro de cómo hacer realidad ese sueño. Eso es hasta ahora...
El verano pasado, antes de comenzar mi primer año de universidad, comencé a dedicarme a la pintura. Es algo de lo que me he enamorado absolutamente en los últimos meses. Me encanta poder tomar fragmentos de verdad de las Escrituras e incorporarlos como parte de lo que pinto. Crear piezas coloridas, bonitas, pero crudas y reales que puedan recordar a las personas quién es Jesús y quiénes son en Él me llena de alegría y emoción. A medida que me he enfrentado a tratar de conectar este llamado que he sentido para ayudar a las personas que están sufriendo a encontrar a Jesús con mi nuevo amor por la pintura, he llegado a la decisión de abrir esta tienda. Enumeraré las cosas que pinto, y una vez que hayan sido compradas, daré el 50% de todo lo que hago a la organización cristiana XXXchurch. Este ministerio ayuda a iluminar la industria de la pornografía al llegar a las personas en medio de su quebrantamiento tal como lo haría Jesús. No puedo esperar a ser una pequeña parte de lo que esta organización está haciendo para marcar la diferencia, y significaría mucho para mí si se unieran a mí en este viaje. La idea detrás del nombre de mi tienda es de la verdad de que Dios se encuentra con nosotros donde estamos... cuando estamos perdidos, pecadores y quebrantados... Él nos saca de nuestros líos una y otra vez y nos persigue. En Él nos encontramos.
La paz que el Señor me ha dado en esta decisión me da energía, y mi esperanza y oración al dar estos próximos pasos es que en algún lugar del camino la vida de alguien se hará diferente... ya sea a través de una pintura que gano o el dinero que se recauda. Jesús es tan bueno, y espero honrarlo y dejar que esa verdad se vea en todo lo que hago para avanzar con esta nueva oportunidad. Gracias por tomarse un poco de tiempo de su día para leer este pedazo de mi corazón.

Welcome to my little corner of Etsy; I hope you like the stuff I have made specifically for you. I have absolutely loved being able to created the pieces in my shop, and I am so thankful for this opportunity to use the talents God has given me to bring glory to His name. I would greatly appreciate if you would give a moment of your time to read the purpose behind what it is I am doing here. Thank you!
For the last few years, God has really laid on my heart a call to bring His light into the darkness of the pornography industry. This is an issue that is so huge in the world today, and yet is so scarcely talked about. I have felt the Lord leading me to try to make a difference in the world by helping broken people find forgiveness, healing, hope, and ultimately new life through Jesus... I hope to help others find the freedom from sexual sin that Jesus offers. With the pornography industry being such a huge thing for one person to tackle, I often have felt discouraged. However, the incredible thing is...God is so much bigger than the pornography industry, and He is so much bigger than any sins we struggle with. It is only by the grace of God that I might be able to help make a difference. He has done incredibly more for me than I ever could deserve, and He desires so much for us to experience something better than lives of sin. I've had this dream in the back of my mind as something I want to do, but I've never been quite sure as to how to go about making that dream a reality. That is until now...
This past summer, before beginning my freshman year of college, I began to take up the hobby of painting. It is something I have absolutely fallen in love with over the past couple of months. I love being able to take bits of truth from Scripture and incorporate it as part of what I paint. Creating colorful, pretty, yet raw and real pieces that can remind people of who Jesus is & who they are in Him fills me with joy and excitement. As I have faced trying to connect this calling I have felt to help people who are hurting find Jesus in with my new love for painting, I have come to the decision to open up this shop. I will be listing things that I paint, and once they have been purchased I will be giving 50% of everything I make to the Christian organization XXXchurch. This ministry helps shine light into the pornography industry by reaching out to people in the middle of their brokenness just as Jesus would. I can not wait to be a little part of what this organization is doing to make a difference, and it would mean so much to me if you'd join me on this journey. The idea behind the name of my shop is from the truth that God meets us where we are...when we are lost, sinful, and broken...He pulls us out of our messes time and time again and pursues us. In Him we are found.
The peace the Lord has given to me on this decision energizes me, and my hope and prayer as I take these next steps is that somewhere along the way someone's life will be made different...whether that is through a painting I make or the money that is raised. Jesus is so good, and I hope to honor Him & let that truth be seen in all I do moving forward with this new opportunity.
