My name is Nicholle and welcome to Louise White.
I am proud to say that all of my high fashion avant-garde fascinators are hand blocked (the physical and tactile process of pulling-stretching-sculpting straw/wool material onto the wooden block) using traditional millinery techniques, hand sculpted, and in many cases hand dyed. All are handmade in the USA with the highest quality of materials.
I take pride in the craftsmanship of each piece. I spend intimate time with every detail of each headpiece. From the specific color, bead placement and the shape of flower pedals.
I do not consider myself a trend follower and I am an avid believer in setting trends, creating the desire of want and never being forgotten.
My design process always begins with me imagining my client as the lead actress in a movie (the movie of their life). I think about how she feels when she looks at the fascinator on her for the first time, where she is going, how it puts an extra twinge in her walk, I think about the eyes on her when she walks in the room and lastly, all the memories she has as she takes the hat off and places it in the hat box.

Payment should be made via Paypal at the time of your purchase. If purchasing by money order or check, if no payment is received within 5 days, the sale will be canceled and item will be re-listed.
There is a sales tax for Ohio customers, not included in price.
Items will ships the next day from receiving payment.
All Louise White orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed on weekdays after 6PM EST, or on weekends, or holidays will be processed the next business day.
Louise White headwear is made-to-order. Shipping times will vary due to availability of supplies and labor intensity. Products can take up to 2 weeks to ship. All Louise White products are shipped from Columbus, Ohio. Hairston Atelier, Inc. is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages.
Please allow 1 business days for order processing. All orders are shipped via UPS, USPS or DHL, depending on location of customer. All orders shipped outside of the United States are subject to additional shipping charges based on the end country's taxes, tariffs and duties. These fees are not associated with Hairston Atelier, Inc. and are to be paid by the recipient upon delivery.
The value of your shipment is non-negotiable and must directly reflect the cost of the jewelry. If you have questions about customs charges please contact your local customs office.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns & Exchanges
You can return or exchange any full price item - not purchased with a promotional discount - for a complete refund within five (5) days of receiving the item, provided that the item is in its original condition with hangtag still attached. All returns must be unworn and unused. International returns must be made within ten (10) days of receiving the item.
Shipping costs must be paid for by the customer for all return or exchange items unless the reason for the return/exchange is due to a product that is defective/damaged upon receipt. If there was a mistake on the part of Louise White, or in the case an item was faulty or damaged, client will be reimbursed for both delivery and return shipping charges. Returns must be postmarked with in five (5) days of the date your items was delivered.
All sale and custom-made/sized items cannot be returned or exchanged. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on Louise White items that have been purchased on other websites or from other retailers.
To return or exchange an item, please follow these steps:
1. Contact company through email: communionmillinery [!at] gmail.com. State reason for return and shipping date. Please forward tracking information once received.
2. For exchanges please include information on which item you would like to exchange for and a refund of difference or request for balance invoice will be sent via PayPal.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen return/exchange packages. Please use a mail carrier with package insurance and tracking.
Your account will be credited, less any shipping costs, within 5 business days of return receipt. You will be emailed a return confirmation at that time. All refunds will be issued in the same form as original payment.
We cannot refund international duties and taxes. For more information on reclaiming international duties and taxes, please contact your local customs bureau.

Additional Policies and FAQs
CLEANING It is important to keep your hat cleaned and properly maintained to keep its fresh-looking.
FELT: Clean felt hat with a soft bristly brush and a textured damp cloth. Use a light colored bristle brush for light colored hats and a dark bristle brush for dark colored hats. Use the brush in counter clockwise motions or go with the grain of the felt. For quick sprucing use a lint brush or roller.
STRAW: Brush straw hat with a whisk broom, regularly to keep it clean. Serious stains, seek a laundry professional.

Store hat in hat box at all times when your not wearing it, to keep dust and light off of the hat. If your hat has a brim, store hat in box and flip box upside down to maintain shape.
