This is the second pewter bridal figure that I have ordered. Both were beautifully made and arrived on time. Louise was very open to how I wanted the finished product to look and was a joy to work with.

I saw my cousin's pewter and embroidery creations, fell in love with them, and voila the birth of my crafting days !

I have a tremendous passion for both embroidery and pewter repousse and I love creating new designs whether they are embroidery or pewter.

Loutul began because I could no longer find a spare wall to hang another wall hanging or a surface to place another pewter item. My daughter suggested Etsy after showing her colleagues and friends in Australia some of the items I sent her. I opened my Etsy shop in February 2012 and am enjoying every minute of this very new experience for me.

I'm not generally a conformist and like to be a bit of a rebel (not too much though). Hence traditional embroidery didn't interest me all that much - too many rules. My style is informal and allows you to use your imagination. You can really go wild if you like. What is most unusual is the pre-printed or painted image that you start with. You can then interpret that any way you like and come up with something that is all you.

Pewter repousse is the one thing that totally relaxes me after a hard day's work. If I've had a really stressful day, there's nothing that relaxes me as quickly and completely as tackling a piece of pewter sheet and pushing and pulling it until I get what I want from it.

I hope you like what you see in my shop, whether it be an embroidered wall hanging or any of my pewter repousse.

Our aim is to provide interesting products of quality and a high standard of customer service. We are always pleased to offer any help and advice regarding our products and our policies so please convo or email us should you have any queries.

Detailed below are our policies regarding payment, shipping returns etc. We know there's a lot but we've tried to cover everything so that you are not inconvenienced in any way.

We accept payment via PayPal only. Please make payment immediately after placing your order. Please note that payments via PayPal e-cheque can take up to a week to clear from the US and up to two weeks from the UK, though the average is around 5 days, orders will be despatched once confirmation of cleared payment has been received from PayPal. Please do convo or email us if you have any problems with payment.

If you wish to cancel an order after payment please convo/email immediately. Please note if an order has already been shipped a refund will only be possible when the goods are returned - see below for further information.

Please note that we are not registered for VAT in the UK, threfore prices quoted do not include VAT.
We will endeavour to despatch all stock orders within 5 - 7 working days and custom orders 7 - 10 working days after receipt of order and payment has been cleared. We are unable to ship on Saturdays, Sundays or UK public holidays. We cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery once the package has been passed to Royal Mail or the couriers, or for delays in delivery due to circumstances beyond our control such as postal strikes, Christmas holiday period when deliveries are always slower. Should an exceptional event occur we will inform you of this at the time of purchase or as soon as we become aware of it.

WE ARE BASED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM - International deliveries take time. We have been informed by Royal Mail that deliveries to the rest of Europe should be between 2 - 3 days and everywhere else between 5 and 7 days.

Please note that orders placed outside of the EU may be liable for customs duty/import taxes on delivery, this is entirely out of our control as are any delays in delivery due to customs interventions. Payment of such customs amounts are the responsibility of the person the package is addressed to.

Shipping of embroidered items:
To ensure that framed articles reach you in perfect condition they are packed with edge protectors in a specifically designed box for posting framed artwork. The packaging material is costly but well worth the additional cost as frames are renowned for having the edges damaged during transport. I use a courier service for shipping embroidered artwork.

I prefer to ship all items Royal Mail Signed For both locally and internationally but realise that it is not really viable on the less expensive items. I will supply you with tracking numbers as soon as I have posted the item. Any excess postage costs will be refunded (at our discretion) via Paypal after the package has been shipped.

Refunds and Exchanges
All items will be sent to you properly packaged in perfect condition. If however you find the goods to be faulty please notify us by convo or email within 7 days of receipt detailing clearly what the problem is. On receipt of the item we will either provide a replacement or a full refund as per your request along with your postage costs where applicable. We advise that you obtain the minimum of a certificate of posting from the Post Office (or overseas equivalent) as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

We are happy to exchange, credit or refund any item you are not satisfied with less shipping costs provided that:
you notify us by convo or email of your decision on receipt of goods
the items are returned immediately but no later than 7 days after receipt
the items are unused and in perfect condition for resale
Please quote your original order number on the package. It is advised that you obtain the minimum of a certificate of posting from the Post Office (or overseas equivalent) as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.
The returning customer is responsible for payment of return postage.
We operate within the key EU Distance Selling Regulations of returns, for any reason, are acceptable within 7 days. We have applied this to purchases worldwide and not restricted to the EU.

Please note that we are unable to accept returns of custom items made to order without prior agreement from us.

Descriptions etc are as accurate as possible. All sizes are listed as approximate though in reality measured. All photographs are as accurate as possible as are colours unless specifically stated in the description as variable. Please allow for differences in colours on individual monitors. Should you not be happy on receipt of an item you can of course return that item - please see the returns information above.
