I almost didn't go with this seller, as they're based in the UK & shipping was expensive for me, in the US - BUT, I LOVED the option of personalizing the base of the tree!! My partner thought it was too funny to receive this delicate, stunning handmade sculpture, and on the base I included "Growing In Lesbians since 2014" (a Scott Pilgrim twist on Growing in Love, our usual tagline). The item itself is sturdy, but delicate & so light, I'll definitely be using museum putty to make sure it never falls from the shelf. The pearls, combined with the coppery gold wire are just so beautiful & whimsical. The gift packaging was so pretty that I couldn't open it to inspect it beforehand, and my partner said the same thing. Thank you - we love it
