About

Only happy when I am making something.

Growing up I spent a lot of time going with my mother when she taught crafts and watching my father build things around the house and carving wood in his spare time. And since my mom worked, I learned to cook with my family as the guinea pigs. As a result, I love making all sorts of things. From food to macrame to glass art.
I chose art school because I didn't want the hours that a professional chef has to work. I loved being in school and would stay in the studios many nights until the security guards would kick me out. I chose sculpture as a major because I never could make up my mind on which materials I wanted to work with. Since college I have had many different types of jobs, including running a pizza shop, manufacturing ceramic lamp shades, teaching fused glass and ceramic painting. I've also had some more conventional jobs, too, but I am only happy when I am making something.
My family spent many Sunday mornings wandering the isles of The Elephant's Trunk Flea Market in CT (which is still there and bigger than ever) looking at all the old and odd things people were selling. Finding old things and giving them a second chance, keeping perfectly useful things out of a landfill and making one thing out of something else that it was never intended to be. That's pretty cool.
My site is a combination to reflect the different aspects of my life, making pretty or delicious things and finding funky old ones. I hope you like it as much as I do.
Thanks for checking it out.
Love, Cyn

A UMD grad w/ a BFA in sculpture because I never could pick one favorite material. Nothing's changed. Currently working on bacon jerky, fused glass, jewelry, pottery, macrame, mosaics and more. My plans outweigh my time and studio space.

VINTAGE CONDITION:
While I love buying and selling vintage goods I do not consider myself an expert. This means that ALL ITEM DESCRIPTIONS are my honest and upfront NON-EXPERT OPINION of an item and its condition and are DONE TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY. I will make every attempt to describe all flaws and imperfections noticed and personally considered significant enough to describe. Since I am NOT AN EXPERT on all the items I sell, it is possible that some items may have faults that I did not notice or was not aware of.
*The items I sell in my shop that are vintage may have imperfections or wear. Wearable items have not been cleaned in most cases. Since some people don't mind a more vintage look and feel, cleaning is left to the new owner.

If you have questions or something is not clear, please email me prior to purchasing. I am happy to answer your questions. *
