Simple Everyday Jewelry with a Twist!
Inspiration comes from all around me. It starts with my favorites - skulls, raw gemstones, faceted stones, the gleam of light as it reflects off metal - and ends up into what i consider wearable art. I love pieces that are complicated yet simple; daring but dainty. Simple, everyday pieces with a slightly pleasant surprise thrown in for interest!
I kind of fell into making and selling jewelry. At first, I just made things for me, but everybody loved my stuff (who'da thougth?!) and asked me to make stuff for them, too! My passion is to make beautiful jewelry affordable! I love working with sterling silver, gold filled, gold vermeil and genuine freshwater pearls and gemstones.
I have found it's a passion of mine and nothing can compare to being able to create something wonderful out of the raw materials. Kind of makes me feel happy and complete. I love it!

Hi! I'm Janelle and I'm a working and part-time stay-at-home mom...and because of etsy, I'm also a part-time jewelry designer! I love it! My inspiration comes from my loves - skulls and complicatingly simple, everyday jewelry with a twist!

When can you expect your jewelry?
All items are made to order - that's why it's possible to customize it just for you!
Please note, I do have a regular job and two small children, so I will try to get out your item as soon as possible, but no more than 7 days after I receive your order, unless there is a shop message stating I am out of town. I will communicate with you as soon as possible if something changes, but I usually get so excited when I get an order, I can't wait to get started. If you need something by a certain date, please let me know and I will try to expedite your order as soon as possible. Sometimes this can be difficult when I have a lot of orders (and especially around the holidays!) but I will do my best to work with you and meet your needs.

Cancellation policy - I accept cancellations of orders within 2 hours of your order. Why? Many times, I am able to make something and ship it out within the same day! So, in exchange for quick shipping ability, the window of cancellation is much smaller. Also, cancellation of an order results in a fee of $1 (because etsy charges me to "relist" the item, even if our transaction has been cancelled.
CustomOrders - Payment is due in full, upfront for all custom orders. I am happy to accept payment plans or lay away - just contact me!
If you would like me to include a little hand written note (for you), I am happy to do so! just ask!
All items shipped with insurance and either a customs number or delivery confirmation.
All shipping prices quoted are for shipping and handling. For all orders, this includes packaging and delivery confirmation.
International Orders: Tracking is via customs form number. All items are insured. I am not responsible for customs fees (this is your responsibility) or postage delays. I will not mark item as "gift". Please also note that International orders may take anywhere from 1-6 weeks from shipping date to reach you, sometimes due to being held up in your country's customs. Thanks for your understanding.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you have a problem with your item, please contact me immediately. I am happy to accept returns. Please contact me within 3 days of receiving your order. Returns will be charged a 20% return to stock fee, as all items are made-to-order. Refunds will be completed when I receive the item back - customer is responsible for return shipping and I highly recommend tracking. **Please note, you will be refunded for total purchase price less shipping less 20% of item cost.**
Shop warranty includes my workman ship (knots coming apart or clasps breaking off due to the wire work) for 30 days only. Please contact me about this as soon as possible.
Please choose your chain length carefully. I am happy to exchange lengths of chain for a minimum $5 fee (because I have to scrap your old chain) plus $4 return shipping. You are responsible for shipping charges both ways and I recommend tracking when you send to me. If you would like a longer chain, consider purchasing an extender (I think this is a much better value than paying shipping both ways). =).
Why is there a fee to change chain length? All items are made by me upon your order - therefore changing the chain length means I have to scrap your old chain. A larger fee may be incurred if your clasp is damaged, as I try to reuse as much of your original necklace as possible. Please realize that some items are much harder to fix. Fixing items may take a while, as I do them on an "as time allows" basis - this means after I have completed ALL my current orders.
Absolutely no returns or exchanges on custom items (like hand stamped charms, wire name bracelets, wire name necklaces, or custom orders you have requested). Thanks for your understanding!
gold plated CHARMS are all sales final and are guaranteed against wear for 14 days after purchase date only. You must contact me within this time period. Thanks!

**Please keep in mind that sterling silver pieces will tarnish due to the nature of the metal (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper). Tarnish can easily be removed by using a silver polishing cloth. Tarnish is due to contact with sulphur compounds. The main cause of tarnishing is trace hydrogen sulfide gas in the air, and is particularly present in smoke from burnt raw fule (coal or oil), strong smelling foodstuffs (like eggs or onion, fish, sellfish) and in polluted air. Silver has also been known to tarnish from wool, latex, rubber bands, oils from your hands and fingers, chlorinated water, perfumes, hairspray and salty food (like chips). This may rub off on your clothes or fingers and cause staining.
Therefore, silver jewelry is best stored in individual sealy poly or ziplock bags with those cute little silica gel packs you get with everything.
