I LOVE this thing :-)... Colors match a solid green custom razor that I had made. As others have stated regarding Vladimir's other creations, the pictures don't do it any justice. I was skeptical about the synthetic hairs that I chose for this brush, but it was a nice feel, albeit a little softer than I like vs the pure badger brush that I previously bought. The brush still felt good, lathered well, weight and size fit my hands perfectly. I was IMPRESSED to the point that Vladimir and I are working on a personal custom item(s) for me. This is a truly unique and amazing brush handle. Vladimir was excellent on communication as well. The layering of the colors looks even better in real life. I really dig the wood burnt company symbol on the bottom. A nice change from coin handles.

Great shaving brush. I love the colors, and it lathers nicely. A bit more backbone than my previous brush, which has taken some adjustment, but I’ve come to like it.

A fantastic handle. A very well made brush. The knot has a tons of backbone. At first I thought it had a little to much backbone. Once I used it for a while I had to come back and update this review because I came to LOVE it. In fact I have ordered a second brush. The ship time and service were also excellent.

Both of the handles I have bought have a good sense of design and color. His hole depths are perfect, at 19-20mm. I have finished the second brush (I glue the knots myself). 2-Band Finest Badger is one of the absolute best brushes, in terms of loading, retention, and letting loose of lather. They work well with almost any shaving soap, and are not too difficult to maintain. I would recommend Valdimir's handles, or entire brushes, to anyone.

This maker is not only talented, but he is honest, and, further, extremely helpful. He is transparent about dimensions, so that you as a buyer can make decisions about assembly. He freely gave me advice on the best gluing technique. Not every maker will do this. How deep you seat your knot will determine the effective knot density and release of lather. It turned out perfect because I chose the 2-band finest badger, which was still soft enough after I left the depth alone. As a result, I was able to find that sough-after territory of true collaboration that results in a great finished product. I only wish that more makers were like Vladimir. The handle is beautiful, evoking for me wisps of tobacco smoke.
