What a great way to protect my son's christening outfit and so adorable. The set is made from a very soft cotton fabric (non irritating). Perfect for photos-all the information is right there. Will be a treasured keepsake. Arrived rather quickly which was a plus.

About

Love for Stitches...More Than a Name

There's something comforting about a hand-stitched quilt, an heirloom christening gown, or a crocheted blanket. As a child, I was enthralled by the stories behind some of these items in our home. Both my grandmothers were seamstresses, and my interest in sewing and all things handmade was a guaranteed way to get a seat by them!

For years, my love for all things stitched found itself on the back burner to school, teaching, and multiple relocations. In 2010, I started making more time for the hobby, and in January 2011, decided to try my hand at selling some of my wares outside of my family and friends. Thus, Love for Stitches was born!

What a joy it is to make items for some of the Lord's sweetest creations, newborn babies. I'm always thinking of the next perfect shower gift I can make, and I feel more than honored when I hear that one of my designs was donned by a bundle of joy on his way home from the hospital or during her infant baptism. It's the reason each item I handcraft leaves my studio with a smile.

I pray that my love for each stitch spills over unto those that give and receive my designs. And, I hope my shop encourages others to get back to their roots and buy homemade. I hope my grandmothers would be proud.
