Ordered by end of August and today - 11day later - the postal service handed me over my new top securely packed. It is exactly the one that has been announced on the webside & it is handmade and has enough weight for long runs. Its size makes handling easy and even giving him a 2nd kick while already spinning is no problem. I like him and i am hoping that many visitors will have a try. Have a close look: the base that is shown on the product page which lets him rest fixed & vertical is included but might be easily overseen. A beautiful, unique chess set!

As a minimalist I am not easily convinced of buying something. As I was inspired to learn chess but didn't have a set I knew I had to get one. After many hours of research I chose this. The board is perfect and the figures are awesome too. For my taste the horse design could be a bit less bulky but that is just very minor. I still believe this is the best chess set available. The figures and board came in gray/black bags and I do not know if they are made from ecological fiber; as a fan of nature I would prefer light linen here maybe. The outside package wrapping and inside bubble foil is quite some plastic which might be easily reduced or maybe even completely exchanged by organic material. Even though I am quite critical I do not see any issues with this work of art, just minor improvements in my personal eye. I love it!
