5 out of 5 starsReally fine craftsmanship on this piece. As a fellow woodturner, I have a keen eye for what it takes to turn a bowl that's both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Lowell knocked it out of the park with this one. The shape is just perfect. This little beauty is now part of my permanent collection. Thanks Lowell!

About LowellHutchDesigns
Lowell Hutcheson fell in love with wood through the restoration and clean-up of a newly purchased, dilapidated farmhouse and barn in Cato, NY. Two years in, she and her husband have slowly saved the barn from the brink of falling over and are returning the farmhouse to its original glory. With the barn now stable, she set up her lathe and workshop last summer and began her creative exploration of local woods. Her wood is sustainably sourced primarily from Syracuse and Cato and with it she has created a diverse range of products, from pens, bowls and plates, to rolling pins and rings. She greatly enjoys the process of selecting a wood, determining the best way to reveal its unique beauty, and handcrafting an individual piece to last generations.
Lowell donates 20% of all proceeds to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and reintegrating orphaned elephants and other wildlife back into the wild in and around Kenya.
