Welcome to the home of The Lucky Vintage Painter.
Our shop name comes from my art business name, The Vintage Painter and where we are located, Luck Wisconsin. If you have met me in person at an art show and just want to say hello, send me a note here. I am still doing custom commissioned artwork and portraits.
It is now winter in Wisconsin! We are busy filling our shop with vintage treasures and art! If you don't see exactly what your looking for, please ask! It may be in our inventory but not listed yet. We appreciate our patrons and would like to hear from you!
Some our favorite things are vintage dish sets, brown drip dishes, lamps, retro home decor and most anything fun, fresh and funky. MCM stuff from the 1960's and 1970's. Really, if we like it, we buy it, simple as that. Two artists finding really cool home decor and anything to make your home unique.
If you love vintage and retro lighting, please visit our new lighting store here:

Vintage,Historical and Amercana Themed Oil Paintings and Prints
Christine Mount Kapp discovered her love of vintage and Americana at a young age while climbing around her Grandfather's junk yard outside of Minneapolis. Much of her portraiture is based on an appreciation of genealology and history. These interests combined to fuel her Vision of painting vintage and Americana themes.
A mostly self-taught painter, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1990 with a degree in graphic design. Eventually she left Minneapolis and settled in the scenic St. Croix River Valley where she is raising her quickly growing twin boys.
Never Straying from the arts, continuing to pursue the vision she had all her life of being a serious painter capturing vintage and Americana life with oil paints on canvas. Many of her paintings are based on her own experiences traveling around the country.
Christine gives private art instruction, works full time from her studio and travels around the country doing juried art shows when her role as chauffeur and hockey mom allows.
