How it all started...
Hi and thank you for stopping by my shop!
My name is Talor, I'm from Israel and I'm the proud owner of Lulaor.
I started my business from home after becoming a mother of 2 beautiful girls Avigail and Ayala. It was very important for me to spend as much time as possible with them which made me rethink my career. More than wanting to be home, I wanted to do something I really love and was extremely passionate about.
It didn't take much self searching to admit I'm a crochet addict and a "craftaholic".
My mother taught me to crochet when I was 13 years old. For me, the evenings we spent talking and crocheting together, are some of the happiest and joy full days I remember.
20 years later I came across t-shirt yarn and fell in love immediately! T-shirt yarn is fabric cut by machine into long stripes that are used for crocheting baskets, rugs, handbags and other home décor items.
I was amazed of how unique and versatile this material was and felt as if a whole new world has opened up to me.
I spend a lot of my time searching for top quality fabrics and recycled fabrics in shops and markets, and self produce the yarn for my work.
After taking a few courses on how to crochet with this yarn, it only made me more enthusiastic about it.
At first I was selling crochet baskets and rugs and not long after I started to explore and experiment other items.
Since I'm crazy about scarves and accessories, it was inevitable to start making them with this yarn. It took almost a year to develop the design of my infinity scarves and I'm very happy to share them on Etsy for you.
I love to think about people wearing and enjoying my accessories.
For me, there is no better compliment than a compliment you'll receive when wearing any of my designs.
So whether you are looking for a crochet item/ pattern, or looking for a handmade artisan scarf or necklace, you are definitely in the right place.
Last but not least, my business could not exist without the help and support of my wonderful husband Sharon. Thank you my love.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me! I hope you enjoy my handmade pieces as much as I enjoy creating them for you.
