Quality handmade baby and toddler products for eco-minded parents

When we had our own little one back in March 2018 we faced this new gig of parenting and came across lots of hurdles along the way, including how to minimise our impact on the environment. We solved many of our own problems with handmade items sewn specifically to deal with the issues as we faced them. Now we're happily sharing our products with new parents all across Australia, and we only hope they can be helpful for those currently weathering the newborn phase.

Lullaby Skies provides baby and toddler items made from organic, modern, vintage and upcycled fabrics, including a range of super absorbent hemp and bamboo fleece products.
Our range is ever growing with our toddler, so keep an eye out for new products as we go!

We hope you love the Lullaby Skies range as much as we do.
Designed and handmade in Tasmania.

Frequently asked questions
Gift wrapping and packaging

We aim to keep packaging to a minimum, and to avoid plastic wrapping where we can. Orders will come safely wrapped in tissue paper or brown paper and in compostable post bags.

Why Hemp?

Hemp is a fast growing plant, capable of regenerating quickly. The fleece and fabrics are moisture-wicking, breathable, and soft on sensitive skin. Most importantly its a lovely and soft natural fibre, and biodegradable once the product has reached the end of its lifespan.
Hemp is far more eco-friendly than bamboo in the way it is turned into fabric, and requires much less water than cotton in its production.

Caring for your hemp products

We use thick hemp and GOTs certified organic cotton fleece, which reaches peak absorbency after a few washes. We recommend pre-washing a few times or soaking overnight to boost the absorbency of your hemp products - trust us, it's worth it!
