How do I send my pictures for the collage?
Within 24 hours of placing your order you will receive a link to upload your pictures through Dropbox. You do NOT need to sign up for a Dropbox account to send the pictures.
How many pictures can I use?
8” x 10” - Maximum of 25 pictures
11” x 14” - Maximum of 35 pictures
16” x 20” - Maximum of 45 pictures
18" x 24" - Maximum of 60 pictures
20” x 24” - Maximum of 70 pictures
24" x 36" - Maximum of 85 pictures
10" x 20” - Maximum of 40 pictures
20"x40" - Maximum of 70 pictures
30"x60" - Maximum of 100 pictures
Not all collages are available in all sizes
If you would like to use more than 85 pictures, please contact me for a custom collage
How long does this take?
Rush processing - you will receive a proof of your collage within 2-3 days of submitting your photos
Without rush processing - please allow a week for a proof of your collage
Once your proof is approved, your collage will be printed and shipped within 1-2 days
If you order a digital file, a high resolution digital file will be emailed to you within 24 hours
No order will ship until the proof is approved
Can changes be made to the collage once the proof is received?
Yes. You can make up to 5 changes to the proof before it is finalized.
How is the collage printed?
If you order a print, the collage is printed on high-quality archival photo paper.
Prints shipped from LuluBlue are printed at a professional photo lab and have a quality you won't find at local drugstore and department store photo centers.
If you order a digital file, you will be emailed the high resolution file and you print yourself
Do you offer framing services?
It is recommend to frame your collage for display, however at this time LuluBlue doesn't offer framing services
Can the text on the collages be customized?
Yes. The text can be customized to anything you like. There isn't a character limit on the text but it is recommended to use no more than 2 lines of text.
How is a digital file printed?
Once the digital file is finalized and emailed, you are free to print it however you wish. You send it anywhere that prints photos to be printed. Many customers use the photo centers at Staples, Walmart, Walgreens, Target....etc.
Digital file can be printed numerous times and shared with friends and family on social media
Can old paper photographs be used in the collage?
Old paper photographs can be used but they need to be in digital format. You can scan old pictures or take pictures of the photos with your phone.
With your phone, I recommend photographing it in a well lit area. Natural lighting is best, don’t use the flash. If your pictures are in frames or albums, I recommend taking them out to photograph. Try to take the pictures head on and not on an angle or slant. I use photo safe tape and tape pictures to a wall to photograph them.
There are also free photo scanning apps like Google PhotoScan. I’ve had some really good results and some not so good results with photo scanning apps.
If you do scan the pictures, please submit them as individual pictures and not multiple pictures per page.
What files types can you use?
I prefer the photographs to be in jpeg format but I can also work with heic, png and pdf files.
