Top shop for gifts.

Announcement    We have decades of experience selling online, at flea markets, antique shops -- and just about any place one can ply the trade. Along the way we've amassed quite a number of bits & bobs what we've refused to throw out -- we'd rather throw some creativity in! This shop is all about using antique, vintage, and found objects and turning them into something extra special. As such, supply is naturally limited!

We also run other Etsy shops:

Authentic antique & vintage: https://www.etsy.com/shop/FairOaksAntiques

Vintage & retro crafting: https://www.etsy.com/shop/KindnessOfStrangers

About LunaTiqueBazaar

Sales 11
On Etsy since 2015

Handmade assemblages, altered artworks, upcycled (or recycled) Frankenstein-esque works built & based upon vintage & antique pieces & practices.

The Crone - err, Ms. Dahlsad - is a collector and finds herself most inspired by worn and salvaged pieces with Velveteen Rabbit Syndrom, i.e. those things which show that love not only makes one real but leaves signs of wear as well. Like most lovers of all things vintage, she values the aesthetics of age which impart various feelings of romance all their own. Imperfections are indeed charming. Past lives are important. Working with rescued and found items inspires stories - not all of which are bright & breezy. However, even when works are not dark, her more traditional themes are... quirky.

Deanna also likes to breathe new life into older art forms and practices themselves. A favorite is the art of potichomania, a mid-19th-century crafting craze involving painting and decoupaging on the reverse side of glass.

Returns and exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Returns and exchange details
All items are accurately described, and photos and/or scans are given, so you can rest assured that what you see is what you get. Most every antique and vintage item has some imperfections. In the biz, this is called "as is, where is". While signs of age, use, etc. are to be expected (and often part of the charm!), we do our very best to point them out so that you needn't point a finger at them in surprise when the items arrive.

If some detail is not mentioned, would like additional images, just ask us about it! We will help you before you make your purchase. As such, you can buy with the confidence that no returns are necessary.

Unless items are not as described, there are no refunds on these unique pieces.
Payment
We accept Direct Checkout with Etsy as well as PayPal.

While we do accept payment via money order & checks, please note that we wait to ship until those payments have cleared.
Shipping
We use USPS Priority, with tracking and insurance, for most all our shipping. With larger and/or heavier items, we will use the most cost effective and safe shipping we can.

We are happy to combine shipping in this shop - and our other Etsy shops:

https://www.etsy.com/shop/FairOaksAntiques

https://www.etsy.com/shop/KindnessOfStrangers

As our items are not a standard size or weight, please contact us so that we can properly calculate the rate for you.

At this time we are reluctant to ship internationally due to the cost; if you really REALLY want something, contact us to discuss the possibility and the shipping rate.
