LusoTiles have participated in the making of Portugaba, a creation of Christian Louboutin inspired by Portugal and its traditional techniques.
Vogue Portugal claims that this tote bag is a journey through national textile traditions.

Lusotiles represented one of the involved artisans from five different regions of the country. We have collaborated with the careful preparation of the ceramic pieces that shine in the handles of the bag, these were inspired by the Portuguese tile pattern. You can find four different patterns, divided into the black and white wallets.

Welcome to my special site.
    My name is Mariela Silveira, creator of LusoTiles and since I remember, I always liked to create and make things with my hands. In fact, I can not imagine life without that privilege.
    When I was young I had the blessing of studying fine arts, drawing and painting. Today after many years, already married and with a beautiful family, living on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal (in the small dream town called Ericeira), I was able to return to what I had always been passionate about: creating things with my hands .
    Here at LUSO TILES, I hope to show the best I have to offer. This project started almost as a hobby and has been growing slowly. Each piece of jewelry I make has the mark of this beautiful country and all the years and centuries of history.
    Here it is very common and we appreciate everything that includes history and the tiles are a very important part of it. Unfortunately, over time, many of them have been lost or damaged. That's why one of my purposes is to keep them alive through my miniature replicas.
    In LUSO TILES jewelry, my "special place" as I call it, aims to express and offer all the best that I can give in each piece of decoration, jewelry accessories, wallets and other things. It is my wish that you can enjoy my space. Each part is special and unique to me, the whole process is purely handmade.
    I like to think that each attachment must be special, individual, not repeated or produced in series. Each of my "treasures" must be unique, something must be marked on them and made for some. In particular, one must describe who takes them.
