LusterWear's Shop Announcement

Using only the very best of materials Carolyn Singh creates lustrous, luxurious pots, pearl and gemstone jewelry and other items to last a lifetime - and beyond! I strive to create objects that are as individual as each person who might enjoy them.

Pearls are unique by their very nature as organic gemstones. I hunt the best quality pearls available from all over the world. Custom jewelry design is available upon request. I do not use glass, plastic, shell or other factory made pearls. All my Pearls were made by an actual oyster or mussel bivalve. Some are grown in salt water oceans, some in freshwater lakes or streams.

The paintings and drawings are entirely original to me and done entirely by hand.

The pots are unique and non-replicable. All the ceramic pieces are food safe unless otherwise noted. Most, if not all, ceramic pieces have been shown in galleries and/or museum exhibits.

All designs are original, made by hand by me, and are copyrighted...because if my work is to appear on someone's tie or umbrella I prefer to design something specifically for that application. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.

The art note cards are professionally printed from my original paintings and drawings. They are printed according to printing industry standards but are not archival as fine art. You can buy them individually or in sets of 4 or 8-your choice.

My prints are done at Beau Graphics here in Lexington. Aaron and Duncan are wonderful guys to work with and do a great job to get everything just right - ie: the way I want it!

The ring sizing, casting and all that stuff that I am not zoned for where I live is done at Jewel-Craft in Erlanger, KY. I work with Mike and Angie over there. They see to it that everything is done according to my specifications.

I usually have two assistants at any given time. They are always both University of Kentucky students. They come from many diverse backgrounds. Some are graduate students, others undergraduate. Their majors range from Pre-Med, to History, to International Studies, to Architecture to.....

Trey Cardwell does all the photography. He will be assisted this semester by MacKenzie Yeiser.

Thank you for looking! Enjoy LusterWear!
