Charming Vintage Frocks for Free-Spirits and Day-Dreamers
Lux: A Unit of Illumination.
Lux Vintage began in the summer of 2011, in the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia. Sourcing vintage from all over the world, I strive to find unique pieces from the 1930's through 1970's. My favourite time period is the 1950's-1960's, so you can expect to see lots of vintage tea dresses, flowered hats, and Mod mini-dresses!
With a collection of vintage dresses, blouses, hats, and handbags, Lux Vintage aims to provide quality vintage pieces at affordable prices.
You can "LIKE" Lux Vintage on Facebook for lots of updates and contest giveaways. You can also follow us on Instagram @Luxvintage!

Refunds and Exchanges
Though all sales are considered final, returns are reviewed on a case by case basis, primarily only if there was a significant error in the listing. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Because great care is taken to provide accurate measurements on each garment, returns due to poor fit are not accepted. It is so important to us that you love your LUX VINTAGE purchase!
To ensure your items are well-suited for you, please take a moment to read the measurements in each listing carefully, and double-check them with your own measurements. If you are unsure on how to properly measure yourself, read our guide below.
✩ SIZING INFORMATION ✩
It is important to remember that vintage clothing fits differently than modern clothing. Vintage clothing was cut much closer to the body compared to clothing today. For this reason, it is important that you allow enough wearing ease to move comfortably while wearing your vintage garment. Vintage garments should always be worn with care and consideration of their age.
Vintage garments were often tailored to fit an individual woman and evidence of seams and darts being taken in or out is not uncommon. For this reason, it is often possible to have a vintage garment altered to fit you if your measurements are off by just a bit.
✩ MEASURING YOURSELF ✩
Use a dressmaker’s tape measure, which you can get at your local fabric store or dollar store.
Measure yourself over the undergarments you plan to wear & not over your clothing.
BUST: measure over the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra.
UNDERBUST: measure around the fullest part of your ribcage, about midway between your bust and waist.
WAIST: measure around the smallest point of your waist where it naturally curves in.
HIP: measure around the fullest part of your hips. This is usually about 8"-9" below your waist.
SHOULDER TO WAIST: Measure from the top of your shoulder, where a normal shoulder seam would lie, down the front, following the curve of your bust.
LENGTH: measure from the top of your shoulder, where a normal shoulder seam would lie, down the front, to the point you want the garment to end at the hem.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please send a message before purchasing.
