I really felt in love from the first moment I saw this beautiful scarf. As I´m following Jenny on Facebook for quite some time, I was aware of her very special skill to do extraordinary garments filled with love and devotion for the materials and styles. I was especially overwhelmed when I got the parcel (very quick&wonderfully nice wrapped-thx for that also!), as I found out that you can wear this scarf in really many ways. It has two layers in the front which I didn´t recognise from the photos, so you can also twist the two ends once more around your neck for an even bigger appearance. Or on some days if you are in need of Superheroes or want to get an extra kick of power you can also wear it backwards and get an uplifting cape-feeling;-). I really do adore this unique piece of magic!

My name is Jenny Eve .
I'm an independent Textile Artisan , Couturier and I have the textiles in my blood ;)
All my garment creations are unique .

I have my own style , my character , i don't make garment "fashionable" , i prefer to think "timeless" .
All garments and accessories are made and photographed by me .
They are mainly hand-sewn ( I use the sewing machine at minima ), hand-embroidered.
I think the hand-sewing is more decorative. It takes much longer time, but the result is delicate, with soul. To sew by hand is a tactile meeting between me, the textures and my creations. It can be as a sort of meditation too, the mind travels, the work grows slowly with maturity during its process.

I admire the hand made work by generations of women which preceded us , I love the poetry and the imperfections found in this work.
I try to continue this tradition.

I love beautiful old materials ,when they were handmade ,from finest and precious antique lace to vintage ethnic treasuries .
They inspire me , I collect and recycle them in my creations .

To create new garments and accessories with old materials, is to give them a second ,a new and different life,to bring them out of oblivion.

I'm passionate by the ethnic costume history in all the world ,
I collect books , fabrics , garments ,my life atmosphere is full of them ,I live "in and with" them all the time and they are source of inspiration.

" Art and Beauty make our existences bearable".
I built a cocoon work life atmosphere around me ,to be able to create for my kind customers all around the world garments and accessories, trying to share with them some dreams coming from my head , made with my hands and ... with my heart.

Sometimes , with humor , i play to be model in my creations show that a small woman like me ( i'm 1,59 cm / 5'2" ) and curvy ( i'm FR 42 / US 10 ) can wear my garments.
I absolutely don't create for gigantic top models wearing xxs sizes because they are not the reality!
And i'm not 16 years old either , but 47 .

Don't be shy, express yourself with fantasy , colors and creativity are good for the mood !
As says Madame Iris Apfel :

Thank you for your visit and interest.

Shop policies

I try my best to provide with my pictures an accurate description of my items. Please keep in mind that the vintage fabrics I use in my creations , they have been used and loved by others in the past, and therefore often times may display some signs of their previous use.
Some of these signs may include scuffs, creases, pulls, marks, nicks, fading and other minor flaws.
These are very normal characteristics of vintage items.
Please be aware that all items will not be perfect, but I'll do my best to sell items with minimal signs of wear.

Hand made imperfections cannot be considered as defects. It is the charm of the hand made work .
