Years ago, I was enchanted with a gift from my sister that featured a little piece of a postcard ...it reminded me of my time in Rome and I began to think of the beautiful stamps that graced the letters of my time there. A few of my happy coincidences in life led me to have friends around the world, and it occurred to me that the stamps that I had collected could be put to good use!

I decided to re-purpose the stamps into wearable jewelry art... and my new adventure was born. I now have The World Collection, featuring vintage stamps from virtually every country in Europe, The French Connection, a special group of charms dedicated to the beauty and romance of France, and The Italian Family, featuring vintage stamps from all over Italy.

I also have pieces from Australia, Japan, Indonesia, and am continuously adding more! The charms are featured on Italian Sterling silver chains, but have also been incorporated into charm bracelets, and soon will be centerpieces in hand built wire cuff-lets.

I love the stories of the stamps featured in my charms, who knows what special pieces of mail they have graced? Perhaps they were on love letters, or important documents...maybe written during war...to loved ones far away... or maybe family members separated by the seas...
