    About MDWPottery

It is never to late to get started

I think I have always been an entrepreneur: When I was in elementary school I sold celebrity pictures from my teen magazines. They were only for ten or fifteen cents but I caught a bug.

I first took ceramics classes back in 1998/99 and really enjoyed it. I sold a few pieces back then also. Since then I have worked with clay on and off. This includes an online jewelry business back 2003/4 and had some success. I made ceramic beads and porcelain pendants.

Now I am back and this time I am making functional ceramic art. I enjoy knowing that my customers will get some use out of my pieces. And that they will have years of happiness with my pieces.

Welcome to my shop. I am inspired by the world around me. This is my take on functional ceramic art with a bit of whimsy. I enjoy talking with customers. Your comments and questions are always welcomed. I do small custom work upon request. If you don't like a color or want more of any item, let me know.

    Accepted payment methods

Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
    Returns and exchanges
No returns or refunds after 14 days. Contact me within 1 week if item is damaged. You must ship broken items back to me at your own cost. I do not refund shipping or pay for shipping to have item sent back to me. All items are insured for $50 or more depending on the piece.
    Shipping
I ship 2-day Priority mail unless otherwise requested all USPS shipping includes insurance up to $50 and tracking. If the cost of the items is more than that there will be an extra charge. If you want it sent FedEx ground they don't have insurance to buy but instead have a replacement of equal or lesser value. Since my work is one of a kind. I don't suggest we use FedEx.

For shipping: I may recycle boxes so I don't charge for those. Then the only charge will be packaging material ($3-$5 based on how many items you buy). This keeps your shipping costs low. If I can ship it cheaper than what I quoted you, I will refund you your money, minus box and packaging material costs.

It's important to me that you are happy with your pottery purchase. If you have any questions or concerns, I sincerely hope you won't hesitate to contact me, so we can come to a happy resolution.

If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. I am always interested in customers comments and requests. I do small custom work so that if you want it in a different color or you want more than one I can do that.
