excellent quality, small life saver of a device. Used to extend midi cable length by passing the midi info along audio multicore.

When I contacted MIDIUp about a quad switch box, I offered my custom request not knowing what to expect, and I was NOT looking for an expedite.

Wow! MIDIUp delivered exactly what I needed, and in amazing time. Communication was excellent throughout and I received the quad switch box almost exactly 3-weeks after submitting my request. It works exactly as expected, and I love the design.

Please know I am not trying to guarantee an experience for you--I went into this will patience and understanding first--and was pleasantly surprised. :)

Full transparency, this is my first purchase on Etsy. That being said, MIDIUp has set an incredible standard. I really like the design of MIDIUp's items, I truly appreciate the great service, and I look forward to further tinkering with my new quad switch box (when I can get some more time!).

Nicely constructed and not much more expensive than buying the parts to build it myself. A simple device that does what it's supposed to do.

Only thing that would make it better is a light to knowmif it's bypassed of not, but otherwise exactly what I needed.

Exactly what I was looking for!!! 5 stars to MIDIUP! This MIDI KILL SWITCH allows me to start a loop on my loop machine then turn on for a BPM to go directly to my iPad (keyboards, delays, sequencers, and much more)

My issue before I found out about this thing.... I use my IPad for drum samples and synths going into my boss RC-300 loop machine.. if a midi cable is linked (audio interface) to my Loop machine would send START AND STOP commands along with the BPM to the iPad (external device). I do not want those start and stop messages, because it causes a little glitch with my samples also it will start any recording I might have opened (or start an external device)..... this MIDI KILL SWITCH allows me to stop those “Start and Stop” from ever happening! Such a time saver!

This item is exactly what I needed! I didn't want to pay a lot for a midi to xlr converter, so these cables were the perfect solution. Works on either end of a couple hundred feet of cable. Thanks!

This item is awesome and worked perfectly for shutting down the Midi signal at the flip of a switch rather than manually unplugging the cables. In my application the Slave (midi clock synched looper pedal) is always waiting for the Master (midi clock drum machine). Since I only needed the drums on certain tracks the slave looper was getting confused on tracks without the drums (to trigger start). This Killswitch helped immensely. I will tell others who need it for this application. Thanks Dave !

HI MIDI fans,

Welcome to the MIDI UP store. I'm an USA-829 Sound Designer, and an educator of Design and Technology for Theatre at CSUF and Integrated Media at CalArts. I design MIDI items that make my world a better place with hardware and software. After a request from the public to buy the items that I designed for myself from a blog posting I have decided to open this shop to share my MIDI creations. I hope you enjoy and MIDI UP.
