The shrug was really quick and easy to sew, but it did not fit me like I thought it would. I might just make make the shrug in a thicker knit next time and make the sleeves a bit more narrow. I got excellent feedback from designer Wendy Ward.

Everything about this pattern is pretty dreamy. It arrives on thick paper, so no need to print at home. And the instructions are in a large, easy to follow booklet. There's a lot of helpful info about choosing fabric and sewing with knits. The skirt went together really well - I made the a-line version. I wish I'd timed it, suffice to say it's a quick sew. No fastenings or edge finishing! I used ponte roma with a small amount of elastane and the result was just as I'd hoped - drapey but not clingy. It was my first attempt at a jersey skirt; I had thought about drafting my own pattern but I'm glad I invested in this instead - it's exactly what I wanted.
