Michelle is the best! We have her create invitations every year for our son. Illustrations are amazing, awesome customer service, and she definitely listens to your needs. Can't say enough!!

Hi there.

MKL Studio is a tiny cave of a space, where I design, print, assemble and stitch my creations. I aim to create products that blend of quirk, whimsy, humor and childishness—while maintaining great design, craftsmanship and attention to detail. I believe details make all the difference.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Returns and exchanges
Refunds are not available for custom-orders that have already been approved and produced. If all or part of your order is damaged in transit, you may return them to me, and I will replace them.
Payment
Payments are accepted via pay-pal and direct checkout. All purchases must be paid for within 1 week of purchase date. If payment has not been made, the order will be cancelled. Sales tax (9%) is applied to all purchases made within California.

For in-stock items and custom orders under $100, payment is due in full, prior to shipping your items and/or providing you with proofs.


- CUSTOM & CUSTOMIZABLE ORDERS -
For custom/customizable orders over $100, a 50% deposit is required prior to providing you with proofs. A reserved listing will be made for you to pay your balance due. Production will begin upon receipt of your final balance.

You may choose to pay in full, before receiving proofs if you wish. All orders with any degree of customization are final sale, so please review your proofs carefully! Any changes requested after proof approval, but before printing are subject to an additional $10 fee. Changes cannot be made once printing begins.


- RUSH ORDERS -
Rush orders are subject to a $50 fee. If you request a rush order, I aim to ship in 3 business days. This means that payment and proof approval are required within about 24 hours of convo-ing me.
Shipping
Items ship via USPS priority, unless otherwise requested. Tracking is included in all orders that ship via USPS priority. Please let me know prior to payment if you would like any additional services (insurance, delivery/signature confirmation) or if you need express shipping.

Orders will be shipped to the address listed on Etsy account. Please make sure your addresses match between PayPal and Etsy! When your item has shipped, I'll notify you with an estimated arrival date and a tracking number.

Domestic orders arrive in 2-3 business days.
Orders to Canada and Mexico take 6-10 business days.
Please inquire for other international destinations.

In-STOCK items ship within 3 business days.

Orders with MINIMUM CUSTOMIZATION: Please allow 1-2 weeks after proof approval for your order to ship. This time may vary depending on the size of your order.

Orders with FULL-CUSTOMIZATION: Please allow 4-6 weeks after proof approval for full-custom wedding/event invitations to ship.

If it is less expensive to calculate shipping by weight (rather than using flat-rate packaging), I will put forth that option to you.
Additional policies and FAQs
You’ll find an eclectic assortment of goods in my shop with varying degrees of customization-- look for these desciptors.

1. IN STOCK These items require zero customization and are sold as they are. This applies to prints and artwork and thank you cards.

2. MIN-CUST (i.e. "CUSTOMIZABLE") Items with this label come with minimum customization—which is somewhat of a misnomer, because it is still a lot of customization. You get to select color, text and many other design elements to suit your taste. Basically the sky's the limit, as long as your customizations fall within the design's limitations. This term applies to invitation sets (Classic Books, Le Petit Prince, Alice in Wonderland...). A design fee applies for customizations that require the creation of artwork not shown in the listing. You are allowed 2 SETS of revisions-- additional revisions are $12 each. Please convo me before placing your order.

3. FULL-CUST Products that are designated as “Full-Customization” are made to order, and I start the design process from scratch. This designation applies to invitations and embroidered goods. I work closely with you during this process to ensure that the design reflects your vision. Custom work is very time-intensive, so please take a look at the timeline to ensure that I have enough time to accommodate your project. That being said, I love custom work! Message me and let’s get the design ball rolling!
