About a week after I had placed my purchase, Megan contacted me apologizing for the delay in shipment: she had noticed a loose button and had taken the time to hand-sew it back on. Megan's transparency, quick message replies, and care for customers and products did not go unnoticed. MODstash: a real life time machine.
MODstash is my dream job. I guess it probably all started when I was 5 or 6 years old. My Dad started collecting vintage cars and we as a family started traveling all over to car shows and swap meets to show off those vintage cars. Eventually my Dad began collecting antiques, road signs, clothing, Elvis everything, lighters, gas pumps, records, playboys, furniture and anything else that had a story to tell. The walls of our house were covered in old movie posters, there was a jukebox in our garage that only played oldies, and buying anything new just wasn't my Dad's style. Lucky for me, he let me hang with him and learn a few things.
By the time I was 14 I was doing most of my own shopping and I found the good majority of my clothing at the local Goodwill. I loved everything. I loved it all. I still do. I can spend hours upon hours digging for my new favorite piece and I never grow tired of it. That is how MODstash was born. Now I dig, and I pass my findings on to you. Pretty kick ass that I can call that my job. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Etsy very recently became the main vehicle for transactions. Before I listed items on Etsy, I sold through eBay, Facebook, vendor shows and word of mouth. Please check out my Facebook page for examples of past inventory and customer relations.
