The story of MRF.Tools began with a personal need of its founder, Andrii Gurskyi. While searching for a knife or tool to fit in his wallet, he found that the options available on the market were of low quality and didn’t meet his expectations. This inspired him to create his own product that combined maximum functionality, quality, and style. This is how MRF Tools was born, and over the past 10 years, it has become a leader in producing the world’s most functional credit card multitools.
Our multitools are known for their exceptional functionality, with top models offering 60+ and 80+ tools, making them unrivaled in the market. They are manufactured exclusively using CNC machines, followed by precision sharpening on grinding machines. We use only the highest-quality materials, including hardened 440C steel and Grade 5 titanium, with a durable Cerakote ceramic coating that adds both longevity and wear resistance to our products.
Our product range is tailored to different audiences: the Universal series offers highly functional solutions for everyday carry (EDC) and survival in nature, while the Designer and Professional series are designed for designers, artists, students, and craftsmen such as locksmiths and welders. The Extreme series is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts like cyclists and snowboarders. Our unique Adventur series even includes a credit card multitool shaped like an ax for wilderness survival. We also offer credit card knives, multifunctional combs, and we are constantly developing new multitools.

MRF.Tools started with a frustration: every credit card multitool on the market was flimsy, dull, or broke after a week. As a mechanical engineer with 10+ years designing CNC equipment, I knew I could do better. So I did. 10 Kickstarter campaigns. 6000+ backers from 20+ countries. Over $155,000 raised.
By early 2022, our most ambitious project — the Universal 4.0 with 80+ tools — was in production. Titanium blanks laser-cut, grinding and sharpening underway. Eight weeks from shipping, right on schedule.
Then, on February 24th, Russia invaded Ukraine.
Our workshop was in Mykolaiv — under constant shelling from day one. Our warehouse near Kharkiv was captured and looted. Hundreds of finished tools, gone. I kept paying workers for months with no production, then brought them back when we restarted. Engineers from our team went to fight.
It took nearly two years — under rocket fire, power outages, and wartime logistics. But we shipped every single Kickstarter order. Every one.
Today we're back. Every tool is CNC-machined from solid Grade 5 titanium or hardened 440C steel, laser engraved, Cerakote coated. EDC multitools with 60-80+ functions, drawing tools for architects, pry bars, cycling tools, keychain tools, credit card knives — all engineered from scratch.
Backers called it "not just a business, but a matter of honor." One kept the shipping envelope as a reminder. Another said he wouldn't have minded if the money went to the war effort — but we delivered anyway.
And something we didn't expect: Ukrainian military snipers carry our Universal 3.0 in the field — replacing a knife, can opener, ruler, and protractor for maps. Our tools weren't just forged through a war. They're tested in one.
