Ho creato per la prima volta un account Etsy nel 2018. Avevo sognato di aprire una tipografia per vendere il mio lavoro fotografico e alcune opere d'arte disegnate a mano. La vita sembrava sempre mettersi in mezzo, quindi non ho mai seguito l'apertura nel mio negozio. Avanti veloce fino al 2020...
Dopo aver fatto un viaggio di Capodanno a Walt Disney World a Orlando, sono tornato a casa a Tuscaloosa, in Alabama, traboccante di ispirazione. Come grande fan di Star Wars e Disney, nonché qualcuno che ha sempre voluto essere un artista per Disney, WDW è uno dei miei posti preferiti sulla Terra e funge da musa eccellente. Una delle cose che mi piace di più del WDW è incontrare altri fan e membri del cast che amano questi personaggi e storie tanto quanto me.
Così, quando sono tornato a casa dal mio viaggio, ho iniziato a disegnare e progettare molti nuovi pezzi senza intenzione di fare nulla con loro. Erano solo per divertimento e servivano come sbocco creativo. Molti dei miei amici (la maggior parte dei quali sono colleghi Disney, Star Wars e nerd di supereroi) continuavano a dirmi che dovevo fare qualcosa di produttivo con questi disegni.
Questo era giusto mentre la pandemia stava iniziando e più che mai ho sentito che era il momento giusto per diffondere un po 'più di gioia e magia nel mondo. Ho deciso che rivisitare il mio negozio Etsy era davvero la strada migliore da intraprendere. Per quanto riguarda la scelta degli adesivi come prodotto in primo piano, il mio laptop, il finestrino dell'auto e le bottiglie d'acqua / bicchieri sono sempre stati coperti con adesivi in vinile. Così è nata l'idea di MRHStickerShop. Ho fatto un atto di fede, ho aperto il mio negozio e il resto è storia!
L'obiettivo del mio negozio è quello di creare adesivi di alta qualità dalle mie opere d'arte che catturino la magia dei fantastici personaggi e storie di cui io e innumerevoli altri siamo fan. MRHStickerShop è pensato per i FAN! È così bello e gratificante connettersi con nuovi amici attraverso qualcosa di piccolo come un adesivo in vinile!
Con il vostro supporto, MRHStickerShop ha superato tutte le aspettative che ho mai avuto e continua a crescere ed evolversi. Grazie per aver intrapreso questo viaggio con me! :)
I first created an Etsy account back in 2018. I had dreamt of opening a print shop to sell my photography work and some hand-drawn artwork. Life always seemed to get in the way, so I never followed through with opening in my shop. Fast-forward to 2020…
After taking a New Year’s trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, I returned home to Tuscaloosa, Alabama overflowing with inspiration. As a huge Star Wars and Disney fan, as well as someone who has always wanted to be an artist for Disney, WDW is one of my favorite places on Earth and serves as an excellent muse. One of the things I enjoy most about WDW is getting to meet fellow fans and cast members that love these characters and stories just as much as I do.
So, when I returned home from my trip, I started drawing and designing many new pieces with no intention of doing anything with them. They were just for fun and served as a creative outlet. Many of my friends (most of whom are fellow Disney, Star Wars, and superhero nerds) kept telling me that I needed to do something productive with these designs.
This was right as the pandemic was starting & more than ever I felt that the time was right to spread a little more joy and magic in the world. I decided that revisiting my Etsy shop was really the best path for me to take. As for choosing stickers as my featured product, my laptop, car window, and water bottles/tumblers have always been covered with vinyl stickers. Thus, the idea for MRHStickerShop was born. I took a leap of faith, opened my shop, and the rest is history!
The goal of my shop is to make high quality stickers from my artwork that capture the magic of the amazing characters and stories that I and countless others are fans of. MRHStickerShop is meant for FANS! It's so cool and rewarding to connect with new friends through something as small as a vinyl sticker!
