A Lifetime Behind The Lens, Chasing The Stories Of The American West
My photography journey began when I was eight years old with a simple Brownie camera. I was fascinated by the idea that a single photograph could preserve a moment forever. From there I graduated to an Instamatic camera, continued photographing throughout junior high school, and never stopped.
Over the years, photography became far more than a hobby. It became the way I experience the world.
I've spent decades exploring back roads, mountain passes, deserts, forests, small towns, and forgotten places across the American West. While many people drive past these locations without noticing them, I've always been drawn to the details others overlook, the abandoned homestead standing alone beneath a storm, the weathered windmill still turning after generations, the vintage truck parked beside an adobe wall, or the first light touching a mountain ridge.
Many of my photographs come from unexpected moments. Sometimes I take a wrong turn and discover something remarkable. Other times I spend hours searching for a location I saw only once years before. The adventure of finding the image is often as rewarding as capturing it.
Today, photography is what I love most. My work focuses on landscapes, historic buildings, old mills, vintage vehicles, wildlife, and the timeless character of rural America. Through my photographs, I hope to preserve these places and share the beauty, history, and stories that continue to exist beyond the busy highways.
Every image in this shop was created from a genuine moment of discovery, and I am honored to share those moments with you.
