My name is MJ. I'm the original creator of colored resin filigree jewelry. I brought my never seen before style of jewelry to Etsy in 2007. It all started with just an idea that I wanted to add color to intricate filigree. I never had any formal art training...just a lot of visions of beauty. I was a lonely kid growing up, in and out of group homes and residential centers....for me creating something was just a way to be happy :-)
In the past year I was honored to have one of my piece's featured in the Miley Cyrus film "So Undercover". My pendant was worn by Lauren Mcknight during the film. It was a very cool experience....my pendant was actually included in the story line.
In 2013 my filigree heart locket was worn by Rashida Jones on Parks and Recreation. She wears my locket throughout the whole season.....this was very cool and exciting for me!
Though over the years there's a bunch of other Etsy sellers who have tried to imitate my work, I really appreciate my customers noticing how much time I take to make sure my craftsmanship is the best. When you create your own techniques/style of jewelry, you set the bar high. Over the years I've created about 7 different techniques that I use to create my pieces....some require carving, tinting, pouring, coloring, layering and heating. I hope eventually to write a book about my techniques and share them with the community but I'm not ready yet :-)
My best accomplishment of them all is being able to create pieces for my Etsy customers on a daily basis...you have made my dreams come true! I've had some of the most amazing, kind customers....I appreciate it soooo much! Thank you!

I accept paypal, major credit cards. You don’t not need a paypal account to use your credit card. If you are new to Etsy and need help with the checkout process please let me know, so I can send you a helpful guide.
Expedited shipping options might be available for USA customers...please contact me before purchasing. Expedited shipping does not mean that your order will be created faster than the 5 business days. My lockets take a while to make, and the creative process can’t be rushed.
During the checkout process please make sure that your address is complete/correct/current….this is the customers responsibility. All purchases are shipped to the Etsy address that you provide at checkout. If a package is not received due to customer error by providing a wrong or old address during checkout it's my policy to wait until the original package has been returned to me before re-shipping. Customers are responsible for paying for the re-shipping fee.
LOST/MISSING/PACKAGES NOT RECEIVED
***Packages that have been "Lost" (doesn't show as delivered) by usps (not because an incorrect address was provided by the customer during the checkout process) will be replaced after a claim for investigation has been filed with the United States Postal Service. A replacement piece will be sent if the package is not recovered
***In the event that your package was "delivered" but not received by you (the buyer), I will file a claim for investigation with usps. I will make every attempt to try and help locate your package but package but I am not responsible for packages that have been scanned as "delivered". Please make sure to ask other household members, neighbors, rental office agents and leave a note with your postal carrier....this is the best actions to take to recover your package.
Refunds and Exchanges
Canceling a sale is up to the discretion of each individual shop owner. Please be positive of making your purchase before checking out. I usually start making your purchase the following morning, so due to this reason I can only honor a request for cancellation before 10 am the following day after your purchase was made.....no exceptions, please do not ask...thank you.
I really hope you love your piece of jewelry Please take into consideration that these are highly crafted handmade items that are unique. No 2 pieces will be 100% exactly a like...even though that's what I aim for. Each piece takes anywhere from 2-5 hours over a course of 3 days to make. My pieces are much more than "hand assembled".
RETURN/EXCHANGE OF UNDAMAGED MERCHANDISE
I don't usually get many requests for locket returns, but if would like to return your undamaged locket please contact me directly thru Etsy convo system within 5 days of receiving your locket, before leaving feedback. Returns must be made within 10 days of receipt.
Personalized Jewelry, Ornaments or Customization charges (charges for adding photos into a locket) are not returnable/refundable. Ornaments are a final sale, unless a printing error was made due to my fault.
RETURN/EXCHANGE OF DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
If you received defective merchandise or damaged in transit, is returnable...please contact me through convo to discuss. Jewelry damaged due to neglectful care by the customer is Not returnable. shipping charges on returns and their replacements are the customer's responsibility.

My feedback reflects positive experiences with my customers because #1 I will always try my best to exceed your expectations. Please remember that this is a handmade community...much different than Amazon or Ebay, so please be respectful....on Etsy your purchasing directly from artists that want the best for their customers...at least I do :-) I believe that people will always have a positive experience in my shop if that's what your looking for.
Additional policies and FAQs
*Custom ornaments require approval before shipping. Please approve your design within 24 hrs of receiving your proof. If I do not get an approval the transaction will be canceled after 24hrs of the proof being sent.
