The jewelry I bought is delicate and beautiful. I am a member of the Aquinnah Wampanoag tribe and am pleased to support a fellow tribal member. The piece is very special as it depicts a story important to our tribal culture. I am also pleased that the pendant comes with a sterling silver chain.

It was a long time waiting for these earrings that I ordered at Thanksgiving but did not receive until after Christmas. I’ve had problems with the mail going to and from the Vineyard before, so not completely a surprise and probably not the sellers fault. (Vineyard Haven Post Office lost a box of gifts I sent for family and didn’t find them until February one year!) The earrings are beautifully made. They look great on my daughter and she was very pleased. I am happy to buy my wampum jewelry from an indigenous crafts person

Seller provided context I did not have before on why my order was so late. (I wish I had been told earlier - I would have waited patiently for my order and made other arrangements for my Christmas gifts.) I ordered these earrings on 11/28. The earrings did not arrive until 12/28, one month after I had ordered them, leaving me without a Christmas present for my mom. However, in light of the new information and because the earrings are beautiful, I will rate them five stars instead of my initial two-star rating.
