Highly recommend this artisan. This was a special order and he not only did it exactly to what I wanted, but completed the work quickly. I had razor in hand a week after starting the conversation. I am already discussing another razor right now.

First off, this brush is much nicer in person than the photos on the etsy listing. The handle: excellent resin work. No pitting, scratches, or discoloration. It is turned and buffed very well. Great size and looks good on the counter. The knot: soft with a good backbone. Lathers up soaps/cremes with ease.

About

How a retired communications worker became a seller on ETSY

After retiring in 2002 I was looking through the Sears Catalog (really I was) I came across an ad for a mini pen lathe and I thought " I can do that ". So I ordered it.
After a learning period my wife took some of my pens to show co-workers, and to my surprise they liked them and wanted to buy some for gifts. For about a year I sold only to friends and co-workers. I also give many items as gifts to family members.
I tried selling for awhile on EBAY with limited luck, then in 2008 I found ETSY.
