Every little demon needs horns and I could not go past these ones. I went with black because it goes with everything and brings out the colour of my demonic eyes. But I love all the other colours too. These are my new favourite accessory.

Absolutely love my Satan Hat! The quality is amazing and I love that it is made to a size that actually fits a human head unlike the "Santa hats" people brag about. The material is so soft and the lining is like a mystery surprise because you never know what pretty patterns are on the inside. Honestly, I don't know why everyone isn't buying one of these beautiful Satan hats right now.

About

Craft is cheaper than Therapy.

My very first introduction to raising money for a living was at the tender age of six. I'd been sent to Sunday School and come home with a folding box to raise money for hungry children in Africa and I wanted to help them some way.

I sat down with a bunch of butchers paper and some stamps and constructed my own zoo tour, and charged all the kids and adults in my neighbourhood five cents each to see it. I think I raised about four dollars, to me, that was amazing. That something I'd made would help others.

I grew with craft and arts. I was never into sports, I played them, but I wasn't great. Music and Sewing were my forte and I could do both at the same time. Head Phone on, singing loudly, making pillows, cushions, anything I could get my hands on.

In 2009 a friend and I got excited about launching her Business and Brand at a local Convention. I learned so much from her going through the process of starting a craft Business, both good and bad, and certainly took many of those lessons as I started making my own brand.

I returned under my own Banner "Mad As Designs" in 2010 at the same convention and had great success in connecting with people at a face to face level. My craft items received great feedback, as did my jewellery.

Like every craft business venture I've had Great Times and Bad Times. I've settled on the following wants for what I make.

- Unique
- Well made (I have to be happy with it)
- Affordable (for both me to make, and the customers who buy)

2015 was the year I decided to really focus on running Mad As Designs as a proper Small Business under Australian Law. The story ran the last five years, so here's to the next ten at the very least.

2016 was a lot of traveling across the country. I've now got a much better idea of the kinds of places that my Mini art works sell well at, and those where they are admired, but not purchased.

2017, the current year, This is the year I finally get Etsy.com working for me! I'm no longer worried that I'll sell something at a convention, AND, online in the same day. With the technological updates to the Etsy and Selling with Etsy apps I can make certain that no one is disappointed and everything in my inventory is up to date.
