Announcement   To those who have encouraged and loved my shop a great big THANK YOU ~ MERCI' MON AMI ~ This year has been full of tragic challenges and the most amazing delights. I graduated with a BA from a private college last May and fulfilled one of my life long dreams. I had some serious heartbreak including huge financial losses. However, God had a silver lining in that dark cloud and I met and married a wonderful Christian man who has made my heart sing. We had such a sweet shabby french wedding that I hope to share with you soon.
Sooo Bonjour mon ami!! I am thrilled to share charming jewels, gifts, and french influenced treasures with you and how my fascination with french wares started. A few years ago my oldest daughter decided to study in London for her Master's in theater which allowed me to travel abroad twice that year. The second time my girlfriend and I took a quick trip to Paris and determined in that one day to cram all we could into it. We bravely found our way early in the morning to a flea market on the edge of town. We looked for easy to pack items because our suitcases were full from all the yummy things we bought in England. We finally made it their and bought antique french postcards, laces, doilies, buttons, and the tourist must have a mini Eiffel tower.
All of these lovelies found their way into my many art projects back home. The front of a memory journal , 40 mini journals, graced with the french riviera postcard for the women's retreat, enlarged as wall hangings I couldn't keep them in stock, glittered with the added buttons and laces from Paris, it was truly inspiring. I still use these bits of whimsy in my art for sale today and coming soon to Madamoiselles new shop. "La Joie de vie" as the French would say "the Joy of Living!" It is no wonder that I dream of going back, maybe next year, to fill my hearts desire in one of Paris's antique markets.
I have so many delightful treasures to show you. Please come back to see all the sparkle and charm. Au revoir, Madamoiselle Delvina, (Ms Debbie')

The picture did make the clutch seem as though it was a hard shell, so I was a bit bummed when I realized it was just stuffed. My fault though for not clarifying. It lost couple sequins in transfer but is still very beautiful and the store was a pleasure to work with and very professional.

Bonjour mon ami, As the French would say life is full of joy. Merci for stopping by, hope you will enjoy shopping here, returning often to find new delights. I' am a Mother to three grown and married children giving me seven beautiful grandchildren, a survivor of rare aggressive cancer, and single for the first time since i was 18. I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to showcase my favorite things.
Art has been my saving grace, creating has brought hope, love, and joy from all who take home a found or handmade delight. I put my whole heart and soul into my work. For over 40 years I have sold my handmade treasures through antique fairs and malls, art shows, friends, family, and now Etsy!!.
My mom, aunts , and grandmother taught me what I know about arts ,crafts, and sewing. (They also taught me how to bake the best pies in the world.) The many art classes I taught or assisted with over the last forty years have been such a satisfying avenue for pursuing my own dreams and teaching others how to put their dreams into tangible art. Goodbye, Au revoir and God Bless, Madamoiselle Delvina (Ms Debbie in French)
