tried on for a minute and think it’s a very nice, sturdy, comfortable mask due to fit and fabric. bought this color and navy to have unisex mask options for our household. i haven’t washed yet but plan to be on the safe side and handwash to extend the life and quality. we did buy a machine garment bag from this shop also in case any of our masks eventually go through a machine wash

Hi! I'm Elise. Born and raised in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., I now live in the Green Mountains of Vermont. I have a rediscovered love of sewing and creativity, that I channel into the creation of handmade bags and travel accessories: tote bags, makeup bags, sunglasses cases, and more. I aim to design and create items that are simple, practical, and above all, well-made.

I learned how to sew on a child size Singer alongside my mother, who in the early 1990s furnished our home with hand-sewn drapes and throw pillows, and even floral arrangements that made our house the home that lives on in my memories today. It was from her that I learned and inherited my appreciation for quality, functionality, and simplicity.

I have a background in engineering, so my approach to projects is often objective and process-oriented. I am a meticulous almost-perfectionist. I'm an over-thinker and a worrier, and lately I've found that sewing channels my energy creatively.
