I ordered this item 2 months ago and never received it. I tried to contact the seller more than once. Most recently requesting a refund since it's now spring and I ordered a winter item. Never got a response so I guess I've been riped off.

I can't stop knitting!

Years ago I found myself out of work and on unemployment for about six months. I played video games, but they got boring after a while, and I needed a new hobby. My family has always knitted, so I figured I would teach myself to knit and that would keep me busy until I found a job. Was I ever right!

I made scarves, hats, christmas presents for everyone, afghans... Pretty much anything that I could knit, I knit. I spent most of my free time knitting. It became almost an addiction! Then one day, I decided I needed to make myself a pair of fingerless gloves. I worked in a very cold office in a hockey arena, so I needed something to keep me warm while leaving my fingers free to type. I brought them into work, and that was when the monster was born.

My coworkers loved the fingerless gloves so much that they commissioned me to make several pairs. I made almost a dozen pairs of gloves, at least one for every female coworker! They all said I should start selling them outside the office, so I started my Etsy shop.

At first I only had the one item listed. I didn't quite get the concept of Etsy, and that if you wanted people to look at your shop you needed to have things for people to look at. For about a year and a half I just had that one item listed, but I continued to knit.

I had surgery last summer, and with nothing to do but knit again, I decided that I'd put more energy into this Etsy thing. I could only use so many knitted items at once, after all. So here I am!

I've expanded a bit into other mediums, and plan to continue to expand. I have a bit of ADD, I believe, and cannot be happy unless I have several projects going at once. To keep myself organized, I started a new shop last year, MadebyMegToo.etsy.com. Check out the lovely items I have listed over there, and remember, I'm always open to custom order requests!

Hi all! Thank you for visiting my shop! I started this shop in 2010, after selling a few hand-knit items to my coworkers and seeing how much they enjoyed them. I listed a few things and left them alone, but recently I've decided to put a lot more effort into selling my goods here. I started with just my knitted items, but I've branched out into other crafts and am looking forward to listing those items as well. I'm sure that by looking around my shop, you can tell that I have a bit of "crafting ADD", haha. I like to think of it as something for everyone! Payment
All orders must be paid at the time of purchase, via PayPal or Direct Checkout. Please send me a message before completing your purchase if you would like to purchase something using another method of payment. The item will not be shipped until payment is received if not paying with PayPal or Direct Checkout. If payment is not received 10 days after date of purchase, the purchased item will be relisted and the order will be cancelled.
Shipping
All orders will be shipped First Class using USPS. All domestic orders will be shipped with delivery confirmation, and I will provide you with a tracking number when the item is shipped.

All ready-to-ship items will be shipped within 1 to 3 business days of payment. Made-to-order lead time is in the shop announcement. If you need something by a certain date, or would like to upgrade to expedited shipping, please let me know.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
We do not collect any customs fees when sending our packages. Any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, etc. that may be incurred at the time of delivery would be at the discretion of your country's tax regulations. We have no way of calculating how much these fees would be, should they occur, and we are not responsible for those charges. For any additional information refer to your local customs agency. Returns/refunds will not be accepted due to customs fees.
Refunds and Exchanges
Customer satisfaction is my absolute number one priority. If you have any problems with your items, your items are lost or damaged during shipping, or you simply have a concern or question regarding your item, please do not hesitate to contact me. I only ask that you do so within a reasonable amount of time; 3 days for problems with your items, one week for shipping issues.

I offer refunds for situations such as the order is lost or damaged during shipping. You may be asked to provide photo proof of damage. I am willing to accept returns or exchanges in some situations, but again, only if you contact me within 3 days of receiving your order. I do not generally offer returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse. In cases of returns, you are responsible for return shipping. I do understand that every situation is different, and I am willing to work out a solution that works best for you and for me.

Under no circumstances can we exchange/replace items that are not in original, unused, sell-able condition, or altered from their original design in any way.

When a refund/return is appropriate, please be aware that the shipping costs associated with the original purchase will not be refunded to the buyer.

When requesting a custom item, please allow 10 days for creation of your item.
