About

Preserving the beauty of nature through pressed flowers and nature photography

My introduction to pressed flower art hit me as if it fell out of the sky. I was going through an album and came across a snap dragon my late mother had given me. I was amazed at how beautiful it still looked after five years. Something told me I should look into the process of pressed flowers and after I did my life was changed. Little did I know there was a whole world of pressed flower artists creating artworks too beautiful for words. I couldn't get started soon enough. Since then I've spent any moment I could learning how to preserve nature's gifts whether it is through the art of Oshibana or taking that perfect shot of a plant in full bloom.
