About

Of earth & sea...

I am inspired by imagery from folklore, myths and dreams. Norse and Celtic Goddesses, ancient myths and our precarious position somewhere between reality and this unseen otherworld where dark and strange stories merge to spill over into our realm.

I play with feelings, emotions and energy within my work.
There is always an untold story behind every image which gives every viewer an opportunity to tap into their own 'otherworld' to see where it may lead them.

My own journey has taken me up and down the country, from Cambridgeshire to Cornwall, and after an 18 year stay by the Cornish coast, I have found myself close to where I began, on the borders of Cambridgeshire and Rutland, in Lincolnshire.
My love of earth & sea now takes me up and down the Country, exploring all the ancient and wild places the United Kingdom has to offer, and I hope it will show in my future work.

"In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that light becomes this art. ~Rumi"
