Hello all, my name is Karrlyn, and Mae Blossom Design is my brand. It is handmade goods for those who love colour, and the simplicity of handmade designs. No two pieces are identical, even though I try my best to make them so. I am not a production potter so my pieces are very small batch, and honestly my rims aren't always perfectly round but that just means i made it with my own 2 hands!

I am a busy working Canadian mom who has found a passion for hobbies in my limited spare time and the ones that have stuck the most are pottery, embroidery, and gardening. Now as your reading this your probably thinking those 3 things couldn’t be more different. And you would be correct. But these three things are what I love to do and now I want to share them with you! I love making embroidery patterns from my floral photography, and I love making vases for the said flowers I’m photographing, and while photographing and arranging those flowers (which I have grown) I am drinking a coffee out of one of my handmade mugs. See they really do work very well together!

I started this shop with the intent of helping my family in a time of financial need and I found passion for something that I never knew was there. Pottery has become my #1 favorite thing to do and I hope that if you decide to buy one of my pieces it brings you just as much joy.

I also have a youtube where I show my kiln openings, and make alongs. You can follow along and see me make the pieces that are listed.

My shop is going to be ever growing, and flowing with different styles and colours throughout the seasons. I will be adding things like mugs, vases, simple home wares, and of course my embroidery patterns, all within time. You may also eventually see pdf, svg, and png files of my digital floral designs as well so that you may be able make your own products with my designs.
