Announcement Welcome! I just opened my Etsy shop in Fall 2017, but I've been selling my knitting patterns at yarn stores, on Ravelry, and in my own online store since 2003. My knitting patterns have been thoroughly tested and edited. Happy browsing and I hope you find something that inspires you to get your needles moving!

I’ve had the girl tooth fairy pattern but had never seen the boy before. They’re so cute! I can’t wait to make this! Thanks so much!

Lovely, well-illustrated pattern and the trim details really add a sparkle! A pleasure.
Fun Designs for Hand-Knitters
I started creating patterns for hand-knitters in 2003 while on bed-rest during my second pregnancy. During that rough time, designing kept me sane, and, eventually, it kept me very busy: After the birth of my son, I took my designs to local yarn shops and trade-shows and, before I knew it, my patterns were being sold at knit stores across the US and Canada. I named my company Pick Up Sticks and ran it with my mom until 2010, when my family relocated from California to Vermont. At that point, I stopped actively designing, but I continued to be featured in how-to videos with CreativeBug and I regularly appeared on PBS's Knit and Crochet Today television program. My catalog of Pick Up Sticks patterns is available for purchase as downloadable PDFs here and at Ravelry.com. The patterns I designed for CreativeBug are available at www.creativebug.com and the patterns I designed Knit and Crochet Now are available at anniesattic.com. My books, Felt It! and Felt Forward, are both available at Amazon.com.
I'm the founder of Pick Up Sticks, a design company that sells hand-knitting patterns. I teach people to knit at www.creativebug.com and on PBS's Knit & Crochet Today. I'm also the author of two books on knitted felt: Felt It, and Felt Forward.
