The Magic of the Mobius Strip
Aus der Einleitung seines Buches "The Mobius Transformation", geschrieben von John Galleher:
"Der Mobius-Streifen kam auf einer Welle der Synchronizität zu uns, die bis heute anhält. Im Frühjahr 1995 leitete ich einen Kurs über Traumbewusstsein und meine Frau Marcia organisierte die lokalen Earth Day-Aktivitäten, als die "Zufälle" begannen.
Ich hatte gerade eine Reihe metaphysischer Romane mit dem Titel "Das Rad des Lebens" von Robert Jordan gelesen, als ich auf einen Hinweis auf ein magisches Traumamulett stieß. Dieses Amulett, "dessen Oberfläche so verdreht war, dass es nur eine Kante hatte", ermöglichte es dem Träger, bewusst in den Traumzustand einzutreten.
Ich erkannte, dass die Form des Amuletts ein Mobius-Streifen war, von dem ich Jahre zuvor im Mathematikunterricht gelernt hatte. Marcia wies darauf hin, dass die Form auch als universelles Symbol des Recyclings verwendet wurde. Etwa zur gleichen Zeit kamen einige tibetisch-buddhistische Freunde von uns mit einem Buch über den Transformationsprozess des Tantra mit dem Titel "Das Rad der Zeit" vorbei!
Die Synchronizität dieser Ereignisse faszinierte mich so sehr, dass ich ein Dutzend Mobius Strip Amulette in Silber für meine Traumklasse gießen ließ..........
und so ist es ~ der Funke, der unser Magic Mobius Schmuckgeschäft entzündet hat ~

"The Mobius Strip came to us on a wave of synchronicity that continues to this day. In the spring of 1995, I was leading a class on Dream Awareness and my wife Marcia was organizing the local Earth day activities when the 'coincidences' began.
I had been reading a series of metaphysical novels called the Wheel of life by Robert Jordan, when I came upon a reference to magical dream amulet. This amulet 'whose surface was twisted so it had only one edge', allowed the wearer to consciously enter the dream state.
I recognized the shape of the amulet to be a Mobius Strip, which I'd learned about years before in math class. Marcia pointed out that the shape was also used as the Universal Symbol of Recycling. At about the same time, some Tibetan Buddhist friends of ours dropped by with a book on the transformational process of Tantra entitled, 'The Wheel of Time'!
The synchronicity of these events so intrigued me that I had a dozen Mobius Strip amulets cast in silver for my dream class..........
and so it is ~ the spark that ignited our Magic Mobius jewelry business ~
